The Scholarship is awarded once a year to applicants irrespective of their financial station and funding can be extended to standard study period. This extension is subject to a review of maintained academic merit done every 2 semesters. Businesses, foundations or private individuals sponsor young global candidates with an amount of 150 EUR (INR 13,149) per month. The Federal Government matches this amount with another 150 EUR (INR 13,149). The maximum award under this scholarship is 300 EUR (INR 26299) per month.
