Aligarh Muslim University has released the counselling guidelines for PG admission 2024. The Third Round of Counseling for provisionally selected Institutional candidates for admission against Institutional Quota seats will be held on December 12, 2024 (11:30 AM) at the AMU Campus.

AMU PG Counselling Key Points

  • Candidates will be admitted to postgraduate seats in the following manner based on their rank and merit:
    • Confirmed Seats: A candidate who selects a seat in Section 2(a) on the prescribed counselling form from the available options at their rank will be treated as Confirmed. They will not be called for subsequent appearances, and the subject allotted to them cannot be changed later.
    • Provisional Seats: In their first appearance, a candidate may select from the available seats and mention the subject in Section 2(b) of the counselling form. The seat offered to them will be treated as a Provisional Seat and will be confirmed in the subsequent counselling.
    • A candidate who does not accept the seat offered to them at their rank and instead opts for 2(c) of the Counselling Form shall be eligible for the next counselling if a seat exists.
  • Candidates who fail to report in person for the counselling on the scheduled date and time will not be permitted to appear for the said counselling or any subsequent counselling. Additionally, they will not be considered for admission.
  • Candidates who will complete their Internship as per the guidelines are eligible for admission.
  • Candidates who have been offered admission shall complete the admission formalities at the Faculty of Unani Medicine on December 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The Admission Fee will be deposited online after completing all other admission-related formalities.
  • Candidates who fail to report on the specified date and time to complete the admission formalities will be considered ineligible for admission.
  • A candidate who completes the admission process on the specified date must join the concerned department on the same day.

Candidates are required to submit the below-listed original documents at the time of admission:

  • SSC or equivalent certificate (as Date of Birth proof)
  • Registration Certificate
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • BUMS Marksheet
  • BUMS Degree
