Bengaluru, January 30: GIBS Business School has organised an unforeseen CSR event called “Harmony Heaven” which shows the spirit of community service and attempts to discharge social responsibilities. The event was organised by the CSR Society of GIBS and its meticulous execution received the expert guidance of Professor Siddanagouda Policepatil. This event which brought together the children of local orphanages for a day filled with Joy and Learning received its endorsement from Ritesh Goyal.

This day-long event held on 24 January was executed under planning by GIBS students in 1st and 2nd year of the PGDM course where the children from Ebenezer Child Care and Bethel Child Care were invited to do various activities to provide unlimited happiness and nurture the talents of these tiny tots.

‘Harmony Heaven’ apart from being a day-long event is also a journey of empowerment and happiness. The children, right from the moment they arrived at the campus, were welcomed with warmth and excitement while the amphitheatre, auditorium, and the designated area on fourth floor were turned into safe spaces for creativity and self-expression. Children were separated into groups based on their ages, and then they were made to be involved with activities to suit their ages and interests.

To showcase the talent of young ones, a talent showcase was organised which featured performances like singing, dancing, beatboxing and group dances etc. But the highlight of the event was the prize distribution at the end which celebrated their efforts and participation spirit. The prize distribution was presided over by Ritesh Goyal along with other dignitaries who acknowledged the talents of these children.
