Admission to NMIMS SBM (school of business management) started for courses such as a one-year DIPLOMA in Social Entrepreneurship and a part-time (two years) MBA in Social Entrepreneurship. The last date to apply for admission is 24th March 2024.

The Diploma and MBA programs in ‘social entrepreneurship’ are introduced to help development sector professionals. It will assist them in setting a base in this challenging and dynamic business environment. The program is designed in such a way that it includes both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. However, this will help each student gain knowledge about the implementation of social entrepreneurial ideas to life that will bring positive change in society.

The two-year comprehensive program MBA in Social Entrepreneurship (part-time) is for professionals in the development sector who are seeking excellence in today’s competitive and complex environment. Moreover, the course focuses on several innovation strategies of management, and entrepreneurial practices that are beneficial for society, and the development of organizations' sustainability to promote a comprehensive approach to current issues arising in non-profit, government, and for-profit sectors. NMIMS SBM provides many scholarship benefits to students such as need-cum merit based of INR 150,000, Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarships 10 need-cum merit based of INR 1 lakhs for EWS Category candidates.

The one-year Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship is also for the social development sector and is specially designed for seasoned professionals and newcomers to enhance managerial inputs. The course aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in the social sector by applying financial planning, developmental design skills, and management practices.

Eligibility

  • Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship:- A graduation degree ( in any discipline) from a recognized university are required for admission.
  • MBA (PART-TIME) in Social Entrepreneurship:- A graduation degree ( in any discipline) from a recognized university are required for admission. Minimum 2 years experience in any business work/ corporate/ administrative or Minimum 2 years experience in any social organizations (Social Enterprises, NGOs, Government Departments, Sustainability departments / Environment / CSR) as a volunteer or full-time staff till the date of personal interview/ written test.
