Avantika University and MIT ID Indore have announced the Design Scholarship Test (DST) for admission into BDes and MDes. The Design Entrance cum Scholarship Test will be conducted online on December 15, 2024 (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM).

Avantika University DST Eligibility Criteria

For BDes Admission

  • Candidate must have qualified 10+2 from any stream with at least 50% aggregate mark in the Class 12th examination.
  • Valid score of the DST / MIT Design Aptitude Test (DAT) / UCEED / NID-DAT / NIFT in 2024-25.

For MDes Admission

  • Candidate must be Graduated from any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks in UG degree
  • Valid score of the DST / MIT Design Aptitude Test (DAT) / UCEED / NID-DAT / NIFT in 2024-25.

Avantika University DST Details

  • DST will be a MCQ-based test of 3 hours duration. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • MITID Indore- Avantika University will release a merit list of the shortlisted candidates.
  • Shortlisted candidates will receive a call-up email for the Round 2 Thinking Challenge and Personal Interview (TCPI).
  • The students are required to upload their Digital portfolio and assignment (Thinking Challenge) in PDF format on the provided Google form.
  • The candidate will be presented with the option to choose a suitable day for TCPI. Thereafter, a Zoom link will be shared. Joining the Zoom link on the day of the TCPI is required to begin the Personal Interview.
  • After both rounds of tests, a final merit list of the selected candidate's names will be published, followed by the issuance of the Offer letter, enabling candidates to apply for enrollment.

Avantika University Design Scholarship Details

The below-mentioned scholarship criteria will be considered for admission in BDes and MDes:

  • 70% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing 90% & above score in DST.
  • 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 80% - 89% score in DST.
  • 30% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 70% – 79% score in DST.
