SAGE University Admission Dates 2026-27

SAGE University uses rolling admissions and accepts applications through several windows during an academic year. Admission offers for the 2026-27 session continue on a rolling basis, while selected programmes may provide second-semester entry. The university normally conducts SEE in multiple phases. SAGE University Courses and Fees

Students can choose from 99 programmes offered through 14 schools at the UG, PG and PhD levels. The academic range includes engineering, pharmacy, law, management, design, nursing, science, agriculture, journalism, performing arts and social sciences.

At the UG level, B.Tech has one of the highest fees at INR 3.40 Lakhs, reflecting laboratory and computing infrastructure costs. The 2-year MA and M.Com options cost between INR 72,000 and INR 94,000, making them the lowest-priced programmes mentioned. The INR 9 Lakhs Pharm.D fee covers six years and includes the cost of clinical rotations and an internship.

SAGE University Admission Process

Admission depends on the programme, academic marks and an accepted national or university entrance test. SEE is the university-level entrance examination, while programmes also accept exams such as JEE Main, GPAT, CLAT, CUET, CAT, CMAT, GATE and UCEED.

1. Check the required Class 12, graduation or postgraduate marks for the chosen course.
2. Take SEE or another entrance examination accepted for that programme. Merit is also used for specified courses.
3. Shortlisted B.Tech applicants attend SAGE counselling at the Bhopal campus.
4. MBA applicants shortlisted through CAT, CMAT or SEE take part in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview for final selection.

B.Tech Admission

Applicants need at least 45% marks in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Selection is based on JEE Main or SEE, followed by counselling for shortlisted students. Available B.Tech fields include core Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, AI and Machine Learning, AI and Data Science, Cyber Security and Big Data Analytics. Diploma holders from relevant engineering branches can apply for lateral B.Tech entry.

Law Admission (BALLB / BBALLB / LLB / LLM)

Entry to the 5-year BALLB and BBALLB programmes is available through CLAT, CUET or SEE. Students must have 45% marks in Class 12 and a qualifying score in an accepted test. A graduation degree is required for the 3-year LLB, while LLM selection is based on marks obtained in LLB.

MBA and Management Admission

MBA applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. The university accepts CAT, CMAT and SEE scores before conducting the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Students can combine two specialisations from Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations.

Pharmacy, Nursing, Design and Science Admission

Pharm.D and B.Pharma applicants need 45% marks in Class 12 with PCB or PCM and must use GPAT or SEE. Nursing admission is merit-based and requires PCB with 45%. B.Des selection considers a portfolio together with UCEED or SEE. B.Sc and BA applicants may enter through CUET, SEE or Class 12 merit.

SAGE University Placements

The Career Resource Centre handles placement activities for every school at SAGE University. In 2024, the university reported visits from more than 400 companies, over 2,500 offers, an average package of INR 4.20 LPA and a highest package of INR 30 LPA.

Most campus placements come from the B.Tech AI and CSE streams, BCA and MBA. Pharmacy graduates commonly continue to M.Pharma or seek government drug regulation positions. Law students generally choose litigation, corporate law firms or judicial services instead of relying on campus recruitment.

SAGE University Scholarships

Applications for NSP scholarships must be submitted on scholarships.gov.in during the yearly application period, which is typically open from August to October. University scholarships are handled during admission. Students must provide their Class 12 marksheet and, where required, an income certificate.

SAGE University Campus and Infrastructure

SAGE University has a 75+ acre campus on Sahara Bypass Road at Katara Hills Extension in Bhopal. Its 14 academic schools are arranged within a residential and semi-residential setting that supports courses ranging from engineering and pharmacy to design and performing arts.

Academic facilities include a central library, CSE laboratories, chemistry and biology laboratories, a Biotechnology Centre, forensic laboratories and design studios. Nursing students use a clinical simulation laboratory, while law students have access to a moot court. The campus also provides a sports complex, gymnasium, cafeteria and student activity centre.

Separate on-campus residences are available for boys and girls. The university also operates transport from important locations in Bhopal. Its Sahara Bypass Road location provides access to the city’s central areas.

SAGE University vs RKDF University vs Rabindranath Tagore University

Students considering SAGE University may also review RKDF University and Rabindranath Tagore University, commonly called RNTU. All three are private universities in Bhopal with several similar courses and admission routes.

SAGE University has the highest NAAC grade in this comparison and offers a broader mix of subjects, including design, performing arts and forensic sciences, which are less common at the other two institutions. RKDF University has operated longer in engineering and medical sciences. RNTU mainly concentrates on engineering and management and has a similar fee profile. Each university uses both national entrance examinations and its own university-level test.
