B.Tech and BE

Students need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 50% aggregate. Reserved category students need 45%. JEE Main 2026 candidates must register on the DTE MP portal, fill choices, and take part in MP state counselling. Students who do not get a seat through counselling can apply directly to LNCT with JEE Main or CUET UG scores for vacant seats. For LNCT B.Tech CSE, the MP state cutoff in the General Category usually remains in the JEE Main score range of 50 to 80 percentile.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Students with a 3-year polytechnic diploma in a relevant engineering branch can apply for direct admission to the second year of B.Tech. They need at least 45% in the Diploma. Seat allotment is done through DTE MP lateral entry counselling.

For MCA, students need graduation with Mathematics either at 10+2 level or during graduation. NIMCET and CUET PG scores are accepted. For M.Tech/ME, students need B.Tech/BE in the relevant branch with 55%. GATE-qualified students can receive a stipend as per RGPV rules. Direct merit-based admission is also offered without GATE.
