MANIT Bhopal is a residential campus with all the basic facilities for both the students and staff. It has 12 residential blocks, including a mega and an ultra-mega hostel for boys, two hostels for girls and one hostel for foreign students. The hostel follows a strict code of conduct and has laid down some rules for the same.
- Boys are not allowed to visit Girls Hostels at any time and vice versa.
- Senior Batch students are not allowed to enter first year hostels at any time. They are not expected to call 1st year students in their rooms at any time.
- All the inmates of Girls Hostel and First Year Students must return to the hostel by 10.00 P.M. and are not allowed to leave the hostel before 6:00 A.M
- Ragging, hazing, bullying, sexual harassment and sexual abuse of any kind are a very serious offense. Students involved in such callous behaviour might lead to total rustication.
- Smoking, Gambling and possession, distribution, and the consumption of alcoholic beverages and illicit drugs in the hostels are strictly prohibited.
- Students are allowed to practise their own religious beliefs only within their allotted hostel rooms, without causing any inconvenience to other hostel residents.
- Mandatory routine medical tests and psychographic profiling of students will be done by the medical staff and the counsellor, within a stipulated time.

I chose this course just because of JEE Rank, as my rank was low so i got this branch only. All faculties are much qualified, in my department all of them are Ph.D. Holders. In each semester, three times the exams are conducted knowns as mini tests, then Mid term, then the final End term. The difficulty is moderate to tougher side.
Internships Opportunities:
Yes, I have opted for internship, i got internship in BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), and the stipend was 20000 per month. lot of companies visited for the internship like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs, deutsche bank, JPMC etc. for the different roles like Software developer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and for Core roles also.

The course curriculum is soo good . Here if a person is from hindi medium so the faculty will teach in both hindi plus english so everyone can understand properly So there is no language barriers everyone can understand everything.

Here placements are rely a Good. If I am talking about this year cs highest package is 82 lakhs per annum and ece and ee highest package is 65 lakhs but the packages a low for mechanical, civil etc for mechanical highest package is 20 lakhs and avg is 9.5 lakhs.

The only reason to choose this course was I want a good institute for a degree like if ur an NITian u get some privilege. Faculties are highly qualified like they might have cleared GATE, IITians etc they are soo much perfect in there subjects and literally teaches perfectly I can guarantee u that most of the NIT's don't have better Academics than MANIT as our director literally gave a very easy curriculum soo that no one fails in it. We have three exams Mini Mid and End and 2 practical Mid and End and teachers help a lot in these practicals.
Placement Experience:
As it's a institute of national importance u will get lot of opportunities of internship u get a lot of chance but u need that skill set to attract it, like in my branch about 63 registered 47 got placed so it's decent and median was of 8.5 lakhs approx and like usually most of get some sort of placement, if I don't get placed I will go for GATE or for UPSC civil exams also I can go for Masters and PhD also these are one of my main choice and MBA is also a choice I can go for as BTech and MBA are best combo also don't only go for skills CGPA is one of the most important aspect in ur college life. I like the college Environment as it is 650 acres of Campus with full of jungle and wild animals. Our faculties are very talented, most of them are the passouts of MANIT itself and started teaching. Some of are graduated from foreign.
Placement Experience:
For placement you should have min. 7.5 cgpa and should have good speaking skills and the major thing is confidence. some of the companies visited are Amazon, Tata, Google, L and T, Vipro etc. In 2024 Highest package is 52 LPA, the average package goes around 8 LPA. about 70% of students get placed. After my degree I go for my own startup of Consultancy services.

in this course i directly relate to industries like pharmaceutical,food or energy had piqued my interest and it offers career path to different industries. the curriculum prepares us takes us to industrial visit to learn about how industries works and also we learn about various machineries and equipments used for various processes in the industry. all the faculties have done B.Tech, M.Tech and Phd from different top universities and they have around 15-20 years of teaching . all the faculties have great and deep knowledge about their subject . and they deliver their lectures in a very smoooth way and they are very helpful and friendly. there are three theoretical exam per semester and they are moderate though the dfficulty level depends upon the subject and individuals understanding and interest in the subject.
Placement Experience:
students are eligible for campus placement after sixth semester and if no campus placements are offered to students ,students can apply for off campus placement in other comapnies or apply for GATE exam and continue further studies or join psus. few visited recruiter and number of offer made are , Atlassian =9 , Park+ =4, google =5, paypal =5 ,etc. the highest package was offered by the company atlassian which was of 82 lpa the average package is 15-16 lpa. last year around 85% of students got placed . After getting degree i will go for higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason for choosing this course is that I have interest in mechanical engineering and interest in developing and searching more about Engine and its working. The quality of faculties we have is very good. They have a very different angles of explaining any topic.
