IIITDM Jabalpur Campus Review

What I Liked

I like the Infrastructure of the campus where we will be having a computer center and student ca go there and study without any disturbance.
Social life of the campus is also good which is very important to have other than studies for the stress relief. There will fest and tournaments where every one can participate and enjoy them.

What I didn’t like

The one thing i don't like about is Network here. As it is located somewhat away from the city the mobile network will not be that good. But there is college Wi-Fi so there is no issue.
Mess quality is not so good here. so if we want to eat n canteens it is somewhat costly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

IIITDM Jabalpur follows the project-based learning approach where we will have a project on each subject so that we can understand it clearly and gain some practical knowledge on it. The professors are also well qualified here and their teaching is also very good. There will quizzes term, End term and some lab practical . the standard of these exams are quite good.

"Life and Learning at IIITDM Jabalpur: A Student's Perspective"

What I Liked

The good part of the college is : 1-sports culture - this is the best part of the college I can say you can play learn lead in this field there. 2-coding culture - the programming club(TPC) is the best place for you for coding,placement, hackathons and learning top notch skills.
3- the festival celebration culture is also very good festival from all across the country are celebrated here.

What I didn’t like

1-the campus area is not used properly there is a lot of empty space here which can be utilised. 2-there is need for more hostels as batch size are increasing.
3-the ece lab does not have proper instruments. 4-the college and hostel adminstration is very strict.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I am an electronic and communication engineering third year student and taking about academic it is not that easy like you can't just just easily score good marks you have to study and attend classes regularly to score good marks and have a good CGPA. The professor are chill specifically ece professors are chill other department professor are not that chill. Chill in the sense that they do not force you attend classes and to follow the 75% attendance rule which most of the other professor take very seriously. The teaching methods and the professors are all very well qualified and helping (some are not very helping). Talking about exams every thing happens timely most courses follow the same structure like 2 quiz,1 midsem and 1 end term some courses may have labs and projects also. For cse people there are a lot of projects which are helpful also for placements.

What I Liked

campus life experience is good here as my opinion
Infrastructure are also good in our campus

What I didn’t like

Club culture are not that rich compare to other college
I personally don't like the food menu bytheway.

Course curriculum are good but for the new branch like Smart Manufacturing there is developing stage yet. and in the within per semester there conduct two quiz, one mid sem and final exam. And faculties are also helpful there.

Course curriculum is good and up to date with today's industry level requirenments making students industry ready. IIIT Jabalpur A harsh reality

What I Liked

I like the faculty, they are good and helpful, also education.
Hostels are also good , campus is good like greenery , gardens

What I didn’t like

Placements are very poors , almost 10-20% in mechanical and my branch Smart manufacturing.
Mess food is very bed , they took good amount from student but provide a very bed quality food .

Course Curriculum Overview:

All faculties are phd graduate and some I have higher than this like post doc form foreign universities. Faculties have good education but have lack for teaching methodology. IIITs and nits have same exam scheme mainly 2 quiz 1 mid term 1 end term in semester and may be you have course lab viva etc . Exam are moderate to difficult to pass to a Normal student.

What I Liked

here infrastructure is good and the colour combo used
campus will be beaultiful during winter and rainy seasons

Nice college with good placements

What I Liked

I like the atmosphere of the campus because the campus is present at the top of the hill.
Your professor have large experience methods are very good that helps in understanding the topic easily.
Here placement cell is very active which which helps the students to get the placements by bringing the top companies.

What I didn’t like

Here you have to be careful while roaming around the campus because the campus is present between the forest. As there be many sightings of snakes.
Academic pressure can be high when there is exams because it labs and assignments you don't get very much time to do some extra curricular activities.
At the hostel doesn't have AC and you have to buy your own cooler and get the permission from the respective wardens of hostels and you have to pay rs 50 per month to use cooler.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the score because here the curriculum is well structured according to industrial trends and standards. Here the professors are very much experience in their field. Faculty teaching methods are very unique to them that is using board and projector and some professors uses both. In curriculum lab sessions are also included which will increase practical applications.

Placements are so good

What I Liked

The campus life here is very much good offering various clubs cultural phase. Yes the students are very friendly and the student community in this colleges very good.
Coming to Faculty, faculty at my college is very highly girlfriend approachable. Many professors have large experience in their field some faculty teaching methods are very good that helps in the understanding topic easily.
Request karikram is well structured and alliance with the current trend of industries standards. It include good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

What I didn’t like

The surroundings of campus is full of forest so you have to be careful while roaming in this campus as there are frequent sightings of snakes near hostel and sometimes like inside the hostel also.
The hostel in the college can hold less students than the students friends in the campus so campus management give 3 seater rooms for four members for 1st year students.
Academic load can be overwhelming sometimes with frequent assignments quizzes and exams while these helps the discipline but it leaves little time to extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the reason I choose this course why it focus on todays trend of industrial standards and the course Curriculum also included the practical lab sessions and project based learning and also give the opportunity to internships. You can also select your interested domain as electives starting from second year. The curriculum does a good job in preparing me for real old application particularly and project held me in gaining more knowledge to solve practical problems. Here the faculty is very much approachable the faculty also like to solve student problem not only regarding economics but also not academy I don't want to mention the faculty name but there are some faculty I like because the explanation skills are very good that you can easily understand topics and very approachable for asking about. For every sem there will be 2 quizzes, 1 midsem exam and 1 endsem exam. The difficult of the papers are depends on the faculty that are teaching the overall difficulty will be moderate.

What I Liked

the climate here is good in winter and rainy infrastructure is also good
faculty is well qualified and campus is life as there is no ragging and stuff

What I didn’t like

there is so much open space which can be used efficiently
as the students count is increasing every year there should be new building but they are not building it

as the average package of the cse in this campus is high i chose this college and this course and now i am pretty satisfied on taking this college and course teaching methods they will be presenting the slides on the screen and explain things which are not easy to understand on board exams are pretty difficult
