Eligibility Criteria for placement is a minimum of 8.5 CPI. Companies like Reliance Jio, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, CRED, TCS, MathWorks, Slice, Mahindra & Mahindra and many more made more than 350 offers. The highest package by Amazon was 52L and the average was 24L. More than 60 per cent of students got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue VLSI Design.

Placement are good. Big tech companies come to campus like microsoft,nvidia for internships and placements. The highest was 1.2 cr international offer in a cybersecurity based company , a lot of student were also hired in Amazon last year with around 40 lpa package

The campus placements are very good compared to the other IIITs or even when compared with most of the NITs. Many big companies like Google, Oracle, PayPal, Nvidia etc visit here. Highest package is of 84LPA and the average package will be around 24LPA. Max students will get placed while some of them might opt for the higher studies.

Placement and job opportunities have decreased over the last few years but still you will get placed if you have studied good enough. The placement for cse and ece is good and for me and sm you have to work hard. Branch wise For cse around 70% gets placed and average salary is around 15+ lpa. For ece around 60% gets placed and average is around 13-14+ lpa. For me and sm placement is little less around 40-50 % gets placed for salary around 10 lpa. Top recruiters are oracle, samsung,play simple,meesho,cisco and many other companies are there. For third year internships also many companies are there like curefit , code nation, goldman Sachs and other are there. NOTE: most of the students here try to get off campus internship in very good companies like Google, microsoft, amazon. This college is also very good at gsoc and a top performer in various hackathons around the country.

Placement and Job opportunities is not that much good for all average, but for the computer Science and electronics communication the placement is good compare to other branch, You can get permission to leave semester , if you cracked any job or internship.

Placements of IIITDM Jabalpur are very nice students of CSE, ECE get the highest as they sit mainly in coding jobs which are high paying compared to core jobs of ME and SM. This year companies like Meesho, Samsung, Accenture, Zolo had visited the campus for placements and internships.

Placement are very poor for mechanical engineering as well as Smart manufacturing engineering, only in cs placement is average. If you only concern is placements then please don't go in this college in mechanical as well as Smart manufacturing engineering. Placements are really very poor . No help from placement coordinator or officer for sm ME guys . No internship, no companies for mechanical and Smart manufacturing except one or two . 15/80 students are placed from my batch in non mechanical field.

there are plenty of placements available there will be continous campanies visiting the campus for placements and there are many internshio oppurtunites recently accenture visited our campus offering 12 spots

The eligibility criteria of placements is you must complete 6 semesters and you don't have to have any blacklogs in previous semester. From fifth semester onwards you can sit in internships placement. But only from 7th semester you can sit for campus placements for full time. Many companies recently visited our campus like Accenture, Nvidia, Samsung, PayPal, AMD,etc . The highest package this year is 34 lpa and last year highest package os 120 lpa and average is 17 lpa. I plan to get a job in web development field after getting my degree.

From 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement but from 5th semester students are eligible for internships. Mini companies register campus for campus placements like Accenture,Nvidia, paypal, Samsung, AMD,etc. Highest package up to now this year(2024-2025) is 34 lpa for last year (2023-2024)the highest packages is 120 lpa and average is 17 lpa 90% of students are placed through campus placements last academic year.
