RNTU Bhopal Courses and Fees

RNTU Bhopal runs more than 150 programmes from certificate level to Ph.D. Its academic range covers Engineering, Agriculture, Health Sciences, Management, Law, Education, Liberal Arts, and other fields. The table lists major and high-enrolment courses.

The vocational course list is wide at RNTU. Its B.Voc programmes cover 16 tracks, including Dialysis Technology, Hospital Administration, Fashion Design, Logistics Management, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Multimedia. Students can also choose D.Pharm, Diploma in Engineering, and Diploma in Computer Application as entry-level pathways.

RNTU Bhopal Admission Process

RNTU Bhopal offers admission through entrance scores, CUET scores, and merit in qualifying exams, depending on the programme. Students must apply through the university portal or the relevant entrance route and then complete document verification and fee payment.

BE (Engineering) Programmes

For BE admission, RNTU Bhopal accepts JEE Main, AJEE, CUET UG with PCM domain, and Class 12 PCM merit. Students need at least 45% aggregate in Class 12 PCM.

MBA Programme

MBA applicants need a graduation degree with at least 50% aggregate. RNTU accepts CUET PG, CAT, MAT, and merit-based admission for MBA. The university may also conduct a written test or PI on campus. MBA is offered in 10 specialisations, including Finance, Marketing, HR, Agribusiness, Hospital Administration, and Rural Management. The two-year fee for all MBA specialisations is INR 2.54 Lakhs.

B.Pharm and Allied Health Sciences

B.Pharm admission requires 10+2 with PCB or PCM and at least 45%. Students can apply through CUET UG or Pharmacy Entrance and Placement Test (PEPT) scores. For B.Sc Nursing and GNM, students must have PCB in Class 12, be at least 17 years old, and meet INC norms. BPT (Physiotherapy) also follows the CUET or merit route with the same eligibility pattern.

BA LLB and Law Programmes

For the 5-year BA LLB, students need 10+2 with 45% aggregate. For the 3-year LLB, a graduation degree with 45% marks is required. Both programmes accept CUET UG or merit scores. LLM is available in Constitutional, Corporate, Criminal, and Human Rights Law, with fees from INR 1.40 Lakhs to INR 2.35 Lakhs per programme.

B.Sc Agriculture and Sciences

B.Sc Agriculture (Hons.) requires 10+2 with PCB or PCM and 45% marks. Admission is through CUET UG or merit, and ICAR norms apply to the Agriculture programme. B.Sc courses in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, and Yoga also need 10+2 with 45% aggregate and admit students through CUET or merit.

RNTU Bhopal Placements

NIRF 2025 placement data shows that RNTU Bhopal placed 311 UG students and 113 PG students in the 2024 placement cycle. Across course levels, the median salary for placed students was between INR 3.96 LPA and INR 5.28 LPA.

The university states that more than 8,000 students have been placed so far through links with 800 companies. For the 2025 placement season, the highest package was INR 18 LPA. More than 250 campus drives were held in 2025, and over 6,000 students from the graduating batch took part.

Recruiters include IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Zensar, and Yash Technologies. Banking and finance names include HDFC, Axis Bank, and BSNL, while manufacturing and industrial recruiters include Adani, CEAT, and HEG. The Atal Incubation Centre at the university has helped more than 500 startups, so students also get an entrepreneurship route apart from regular placements.

RNTU Bhopal Rankings

RNTU Bhopal has appeared in NIRF rankings for seven years in a row. In NIRF 2025, it is placed in the 151-200 band in the Overall category.

RNTU Bhopal Scholarships

RNTU Bhopal gives merit scholarships to students with strong academic performance at admission. SC, ST, OBC, and minority students can also apply for Madhya Pradesh government scholarships and central schemes such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Students from economically weaker sections can also apply for education loans through the university’s bank partnerships. The university states that its fee range is among the more affordable options in Madhya Pradesh for professional programmes.

RNTU Bhopal Campus and Infrastructure

RNTU Bhopal is located in Raisen District on National Highway 46, about 25 km from Bhopal city. The 52-acre campus has academic blocks for 10 faculties, a central library, computer centres, and separate laboratories for Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, and Sciences.

Hostel accommodation is available separately for boys and girls at INR 72,000 per year. The campus also has sports facilities, an amphitheatre, a cafeteria, and the Atal Incubation Centre. The incubation centre has supported more than 500 startups and offers mentoring, access to seed funding, and coworking space for student entrepreneurs.

RNTU Bhopal vs LNCT University Bhopal vs SAGE University Bhopal

RNTU Bhopal, LNCT University Bhopal, and SAGE University Bhopal are private multi-discipline universities in Bhopal or Madhya Pradesh. Students usually compare them for Engineering, Management, and allied science courses, based on available programmes, fees, and placements.

Among the three, RNTU Bhopal has the clearest formal benchmark because of its NIRF presence and seven-year ranking record. Its skill university model and large vocational course list are also major differences. LNCT University is more focused on Engineering and has multiple campuses in MP. SAGE University is newer and is expanding its programme range. All three mainly serve students looking at the INR 4 LPA to INR 6 LPA median salary band.
