SVKM’s NMIMS Indore and EHIS hosted the ‘MU20 High School Summit’ with the leading high schools from Asia. The mega event of MU20 School of Opportunity was hosted in partnership with AFS India. A Total of 3,000+ attendees, including over 2,000 eager students and over 100 globally acclaimed schools and their principals among the participants in the Summit.

The summit theme of ‘Celebrating the Youth’, resonated deeply with the energy and the enthusiasm demonstrated by the participants. The campus buzzed with unbridled excitement as the enthusiastic students displayed immense youthful energy by presenting their ideas and perspectives at the Summit. The event remarks on the transforming dynamics of education in India, participating students became richer in soft skills, the spirit of learning, leadership, and collaboration.

The Summit was held for three days and the opening ceremony took place at the Emerald Heights International School, and for the next days, the programmes were hosted at the NMIMS Indore Campus. Among the participation from 100+ schools, the Emerald Heights International School won the Outstanding Delegation award and the Shishukunj International School won the Best Delegation. Both schools are from Indore and emerged winners in most of the competitions. The summit concluded with the winners being presented with certificates, awards, and medals.

The summit consists of several events and workshops. The ‘MU20 Under 20’ honoured the accomplishments of young talents across domains and with the partnership with the Government of India as part of their ‘Start-Up India’ initiative, the ‘Entrepreneur Challenge’ is also organised to boost the entrepreneurial spirit among students. The opportunity is provided for the students to build a working prototype of their original business ideas and present it in front of industry leaders and prospective investors. The Sanskaar Valley School emerged as the winner of the Entrepreneurial Challenge and received funding of ₹50,000 from Anuj Kanwar, Founder of School Sharks

The speaker of Josh Talks, Prabhav Joshi, a 12-year-old student inspired the audience with rich insights on art therapy at ‘MU20x. A partnership between INIFD Indore and Optional Media Solutions organised a Cultural Walk to showcase the diverse colours of India. A team of Students from well-known actor Mr Anupam Kher's film school demonstrated artistic aspirations and were enthralled by the workshops on performing arts. The students displayed their acting and storytelling skills in front of the audience by performing a ‘Theatrics Challenge’ The Students from various schools were brought together by the Model United Nations Committee, to address pressing global issues through diplomacy and collaboration. Through ‘Impact Challenge’, they came up with innovative solutions for urgent global issues, as they created sustainable solutions and gained valuable problem-solving experience and teamwork skills.

Dr Anshuman Jaswal, Director, NMIMS Indore expressed his views on the massive success of the event and its impact on NMIMS Indore and its students, “The MU20 High Summit was a transformative forum of knowledge exchange. We gained new perspectives through the summit and were introduced to a whole new outlook towards teaching and learning. The success of the event has inspired us to organise such meaningful events at the college level.”
