There is no management quota at IMS-DAVV. Merit and centralised DAVV counselling determine admission to all 120 MBA seats. The integrated programme has 60 seats in Hospital Administration and another 60 seats in E-Commerce.

IMS-DAVV Admission Process

IMS-DAVV follows centralised, merit-based admission and does not conduct a separate institute-level entrance examination. The route differs by programme.

  1. Choose the relevant programme and check its academic and work-experience requirements.
  2. For a regular MBA, appear for CUET PG or CMAT. BBA+MBA applicants must take CUET UG.
  3. Regular MBA applicants shortlisted through the entrance examination attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the IMS-DAVV campus.
  4. Complete the centralised DAVV counselling and seat-allocation process wherever it applies.
  5. Executive MBA, MBA Hospital Administration and MBA Public Health Management applicants are considered through their applicable direct merit and GD/PI route.

MBA Admission

CUET PG is the main entrance examination for the regular MBA, and CMAT scores are also accepted. Shortlisted applicants must complete a Group Discussion and Personal Interview, commonly called GD+PI, on the Indore campus.

  • Applicants need a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. The minimum is 45% for SC, ST and PH applicants from Madhya Pradesh.
  • A valid CUET PG or CMAT score is needed for the regular MBA route.
  • Seats are reserved according to Madhya Pradesh government rules for SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories.

Executive MBA applicants need either 5 years of work experience after graduation or 2 years after completing a postgraduate degree. This programme uses direct merit instead of CUET PG. MBA Hospital Administration and MBA Public Health Management also use direct merit followed by GD/PI.

BBA+MBA (5-Year Integrated) Admission

Students can enter the 5-year BBA+MBA after Class 12 by using their CUET UG scores. Hospital Administration and E-Commerce are the two available tracks, and each has 60 seats. Admissions for the 2026-27 session are closed, while the next admission cycle will use CUET UG 2027.

Ph.D. Admission

A postgraduate degree in Management is required for Ph.D. admission. IMS-DAVV gives preference to applicants who have qualified UGC-NET or UGC-JRF. Those without NET qualification must take DAVV's Ph.D. entrance test.
