Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya released the shortlisted candidates list for PhD Interviews. Shortlisted Candidates must appear for the Interview at the DAVV Indore Campus on February 7, 2025 (11:00 AM).

• Candidates who have qualified the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET-2024) in Statistics are shortlisted for the Interview.
• Candidates must fill up the student information form, and sign the attendance sheet on the day of the Interview.
• No objection letter duly signed by the supervisor and Head research center must be attached to the Student Information Form along with other relevant documents such as Caste or category certificates (if applicable).
• Candidates are required to discuss their research interests through a presentation (3-4 slides) before the Research Advisory Committee.
• The committee will evaluate the research potential of the candidate, the ingenuity of the Research, and the suitability of the research center at the time of the interview.
• Candidate must bring 5 copies of a short write-up of the Research plan of up to 1000 words illustrating the broad area of research work to be undertaken, its importance, and applications.
• The evaluation in the interview will be based on the following criteria (25 Marks each):
  • Research plan
  • Research potential/ aptitude
  • Communication skills
  • Subject knowledge in the respective area of research.

• Candidates who qualified in DET 2024 will be ranked based on a combined score where entrance test marks carry 70% weight and interview marks account for 30%.
