Guidelines For Students Regarding RAC (Interview)

The following are the guidelines for the DAVV DET 2024 interview:

  • Candidates must complete the student information form and sign the attendance sheet on the day of the RAC interview.
  • Submit a No Objection/Consent Form signed by the supervisor and Head of the research centre, along with relevant documents.
  • Seat reservations will follow Madhya Pradesh government rules for different categories, as specified in Ordinance 11 (page 4) on the website.
  • Prepare a research plan write-up (1000 words, 5 copies) detailing the broad area of research, its importance, and applications.
  • Create a PowerPoint presentation (3-4 slides) of the research plan for presentation before the RAC.
  • Evaluation criteria include four components (25 marks each): Research plan, Research potential/aptitude, Communication skills, and Subject knowledge.
  • Candidates must attend the RAC interview even without a consent letter, as the committee may assign a Supervisor/Co-Supervisor at their discretion.
  • Consent Letter: Having a consent letter does not guarantee admission to the program.
