Sandip University is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2025. Candidates can apply online through the Sandip University admission portal before January 9, 2025. The application fee of INR 1000 needs to be paid at the time of submission. Selection will be based on a Written test and Interviews.

Sandip University PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
• Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree having a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade are eligible to apply.
• Candidates qualified in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET / SLET / GATE / D and similar National level tests will be exempted from the Entrance Test.
• The selection of candidates will be based on the entrance test conducted by the university, a weightage of 70 % for the entrance test and 30 % for the performance in the interview shall be given.

Sandip University PhD Entrance Details

• The Entrance Examination (SUMPET 2025) will consist of 100 MCQs of 1 mark each.
• The PhD entrance examination will consist of:
  • Research methodology: 50 marks
  • Domain test: 50 marks
• The duration allotted for the test is 2 hours.
• The candidates must obtain 50% marks in the entrance test to be considered for further selection process.
• A 5% relaxation of marks is provided for the candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC NCL / PwD categories.

• Class 10th mark sheet and certificate

• Aadhar card / Govt. photo ID card
• Documents in support of exemption from entrance test (valid score of M.Phil / GATE / NET etc.)
