Gopal Narayan Singh University commonly known as GNSU is one of the first six private universities located in Sasaram, Bihar. Established in 2018, GNSU is a private University which is recognized by UGC. It is also approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Indian Nursing Council and was approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the recommendation of the Medical Council of India (MCI).

GNSU does not provide any scholarships to students. Although, it offers education loan to students who need economic help. Gopal Narayan Singh University offers them an education loan via the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme which provides financial assistance to those students who are willing to pursue higher education.
