How to get Admission in Delhi University?

Admission to Undergraduate Courses in Delhi University is completely based on the CUET Undergraduate Courses and through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Admission to Postgraduate programs in Delhi University can be done on the basis of the CUET Postgraduate Courses.

For the admission in Ph.D. Courses in Delhi University (Delhi), candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam and personal-interview round.

Delhi University UG Courses Admission Process -

  • Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the admission in UG Courses in Delhi University have to register themselves and appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) Exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • After that, the CUET results are declared and the results display the candidate’s score in the qualifying exam along with its qualifying status (whether they qualify the exam or not).
  • Along with that, CUET also prepared the merit list for admission in Delhi University based on the marks obtained and performance of the candidates in the CUET UG Entrance Exam.
  • After releasing the merit list, Delhi University also announced the CUET Cut-off for admission in various Undergraduate Courses.
  • The shortlisted candidates who have cleared the cut-off have to participate in the CUET Counseling Process which is an online process where you've to choose your college based on the availability of the seats for the course and your preference.
  • On the basis of the choices made by the selected candidates, CUET admission lists are released by the colleges affiliated by Delhi University for the allocation of seats to various candidates.
  • Finally, selected candidates have to complete the document verification at their college and then pay the DU Admission fee.
