Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore has various admission criteria:

• For MBBS, applicants must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany or Zoology) and English. Candidates must also have at least 140/200 marks in these subjects. For BC/MBC/SC/ST/OPH, candidates must have 40% marks.
• For the CMC Vellore BPT program, candidates must have passed Class 12 from the CBSE board or equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• For DM and M.Ch, candidates must have an MD/DNB degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university.
• Non-Indian nationals must obtain a "No Objection Certificate" from the Government of India.
• Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from a University recognized by the MCI.
