Patna University admissions are based on merit and entrance exams, the qualified candidates are then required to undergo the counseling process. The candidates are allotted the seats after the final documentation and requisite fee payment. The UG and PG admissions are done through the Patna University Entrance Exam. Whereas the Ph.D. program admissions are done through UGC NET/CSIR NET. Admissions to all the courses are done on online mode through the official website.
