Acropolis Indore, the engineer's factory
Likes
- The first thing I like is the campus life. College clubs promotes socializing and making connections with students, and industry experts which benifit alot in learning and job opportunities.
- The second thing is infrastructure, here Idea lab is established by AICTE which is very great opportunity to learn various things. Also ACROBIZZ incubation center is available.
Dislikes
- The campus size is small. It has no cricket ground. Also there is a single stationary shop in campus which is not open every time.
- Second thing is it's curriculum's 75% attendance rule.
Remarks :
I wanted to study in Indore and this was the best engineering college in Indore. The main reason for admission and the fame of the college is the TPO of this college, who is Mr. Atul Bharat, sir. He is a very great personality. Also, the facilities of this college are amazing to learn. This college has an Idea lab and, Incubation centre and also this promotes a lot for Entrepreneurship. The extracurricular activities are great here. Here is developing a large sports complex also. I have appeared for JEE mains on which basis I have taken admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is a little outdated as in the first year it reached subjects like mechanical, chemistry, physics, civil to all branches also to CS but there is no need for these subjects in the industry. Teaching these subjects wastes important time. But from the 2nd year, the subjects are useful enough to meet industry needs. The faculties are good. Various are PhD degree holders. Their teaching skills are good.
Placement Experience :
The placement facility is good. It is done by the Career Development Cell and this cell provides 3 lectures a week for every class. Many companies have visited campus for placement like TCS, Protonshub, daffodils etc and various startups have also visited for placement. Students have grabbed off-campus placements also in Uber, Zomato etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My total fee for one year is 98000 but for students who have taken admission form year 2023, the fee is 120000. My one semester fee is 49000 and in the first year, you have to pay 10000 rupees extra for some charges like caution money and other things.
Campus Life :
The campus life is also good. Various clubs are promoting different activities. Sports infrastructure is a little weak as there is a single ground for cricket and football. But a sports complex is developing in the college. The library is good but AC is not available there. Various books are available. The fest is conducted in February each year and is named ARDOR. Also E summit is conducted by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell is the most active and professional club of this college.

A good amount of companies come in college for recruitment. Some of them are giants. Don't know exact figures but as of now i think placements needs improvement. There should be proper placement training conducted for students. There should be mock interviews prep which will help students a lot.

Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
An unexpected journey
Placement Experience :
I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????
Placement Experience :
MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
