My experience in Ace College of engineering Trivandrum

- The college is very peaceful and the surroundings are very quiet.
- Faculties are very supportive and friendly.
Dislikes
- There is not network reception in some places but there are wifi.
- Canteen food is not that good and buses are not that well maintained
Remarks :
There were only two colleges that offered aeronautical engineering in my city. And ace was the best choice from the two. Faculties are nice and the overall experience is way better. Classes are properly managed and maintained too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Aeronautical was my second priority when i applied for colleges. But now its becoming one of my best decisions ever. The faculties have qualified mtech and some of them have PhDs too. Exams are very often conducted to evaluate the students.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships availability varies too. There are lot of programs going on in associated with that. The placement cell directes that. They research about that and introduce it to us. Internships are mostly online so that our academics wont affect.
Placement Experience :
The college placement cell is very cooperative. They do their best to get the maximum placements for us. From this year onwards we have started one program where everyone should do atleast one course each every week in order to make our resume great. There are other programs like superset too.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure depends upon your entrance examinations. If you have passed in the examination you would have to pay only 40000. And there are cast wise scholarships for underprivileged catagory. Nri seat cost 109000 per year.
Campus Life :
There are various events that happen through out the year. There is onam, then comes the freshers day, then keralapiravi day and sports day in first half of the year. Then in the second half there is our cultural fest called EPOCH.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel as i live nearby. The hostel provides a safe environment to students. Food quality actually varies. Some day its ok but sometimes its bad. I have friends who opted hostel they are not satisfied with the food.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
