The factors which help me to choose this college are: 1. The college is very old and it ranks 3rd in Rajasthan which is very good also the college is very old so it has experienced faculties. 2. For my convenience the college is close to my hometown so that i may not face transportation problems. 3. For PG practising the college is very highly ranked. A senior of mine helped me to choose this college after his experiences. Overall the college is very good but some areas need scope of improvements that I have mentioned below. To get seat in a government medical college you need to clear NEET-UG exam. After you have cleared the exam you get qualified for respective Government colleges. You can choose between colleges according to your marks and rank. Online you can register for different Rounds and the college name that you desire. After you get selected for the college you are invited to a place where you have submit your documents for verification.
MBBS is a very long course and it requires time, efforts and hard work for developing skills. I choose this course over others because I wanted to help people cure their diseases by taking their problem as mine by giving my best. The faculties are highly qualified, possessing degrees like MBBS,MSc,Phd etc. They are very experienced. While each person has different teaching method but the information they provide is same, obviously you have to adapt accordingly. I am currently in 1st year so in my case there were semesters held like I had my 1st Semester completed by 4th month from the admission date and 2nd semester after the next 4 months. The difficulty level is medium I would say. Also want to add that after every topic is complete there is a Part Completion Test (PCT) held. After the semesters there is Pre University Exams (PUC) which is like pre boards exam. Those who pass in this exam are qualified for the University Exams (UC) otherwise they have to give Supplementary exams.
I am not eligible for internship since I am in 1st Year currently. So after you have done your 4th year you can apply for internship and college will send you to different hospitals for duty for an time period of 1.5 year. There are 9 hospitals associated with our college and you can be sent to any college in any field for your duty and practice. There you face many patients and develop skills. The stipend one get is around 18000-25000 INR per month and it varies from state to state or city to city.
Earlier, after you have completed your 4th year you were eligible for internship. Now after completing the 4th year you have to give an exam named NEXT. After you qualified this exam then only you are eligible for internship. You are placed to different hospitals according to different fields in medicine that you get to practise. During the time of internship an individual earns a stipend of around 10000-40000 INR according to the state or city. After completing the degree you have to give another exam to get seat for PG. Only the students getting eligible rank in this exam can be selected as a PG resident Doctor. After entering PG the stipend increases by 90000-110000 INR.
When I entered the college I paid 49800(yearly)Rs as my college fees it doesn’t included hostel fees since the hostels are not allotted in 1st year. Note that this fees is according to my category. There are some scholarship problems as well. For complete Course the fees is around 3-4 lakhs INR for my college and fluctuates accordingly. I will be paying an amount of 24500 as my yearly fees. This includes 0 tuition fees in my case, Rs 16200 as the sports fees yearly and Rs 8300 as the Infrastructure Development and Welfare fund. You can submit the fees online on the college website. My friends paid 91500 INR as their college yearly fees as of Govt. Seat Boys(other than SC,ST,EWS,OBC-NCL and MBC-NCL).
So the life at the campus is good in my opinion. Every year in the month of May there is a fest named Spandhan is organised by the seniors. Various cultural activities and spirts are held in this program and everyone can take part in this event. The campus also have seperate Library and Reading room where one can opt for particular books and journals. The classrooms are occupied with digital screens and educom where the pdfs are displayed. There is mic and numerous speakers in the classroom so that the voice of the teacher can be audible to each student. Various sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc can be played and rach or them have there specific grounds except Cricket and Football they share the ground To learn swimming there is a separate pool Also for practising dance, singing and various instruments there is a separate hall. There are no specific clubs or website for students but in may happen in future.
I have not opted for hostel but i can provide some information on what I have observed. So basically the hostel is quite old like the college and is situated outside the college near the MDM Hospital In my opinion the infrastructure of the hostel in good and rooms were also good at the time it was build but the condition is very bad now and they must be renovated also there is poor facility of water. There is separate mess for the hostel and good quality is good like for 60 Rs you get 2 different types of Sabzi and Rice along with buttermilk and you can take as many chapatis as you want. You can register for hostel on the college website by depositing the fees online. There are options other than hostel you can get like PGs also you can rent rooms. I personally live in a room rented near the college in Sindhi Colony.
I am not into placement and job opportunities by my course I am preparing for a government exam hence I need a degree for that On the other hand as it is a government college There are high chances of placements with good packages
Its an 100% placement college with internships opportunities at 7th semester The college gives details mock questions whick can be asked during interviews sessions. The college even have great company opportunities
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams
Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.
You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
our course first batch is still not gradutaed so there is no info about placements but there is such help in internship. they also told that they will give placment asiistance from their side , lets see
The internship experience is provided by college . Many recruiters came for recruitments every year in all the streams. companies like HUL and FMCG groups take their fresh employees and provide experience of salary basis.
I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college
Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.
There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
