Concise review of Department of law, Barkatullah University
Remarks :
The course is an integrated 5 yr professional course. The admission process is simple the students are selected through the CUET exam and after the seats are filled with CUET students then their is college level counselling which solely depends on merit list but the minimum percentage required is 65%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good and qualified and teaching methods and experience is also good. Every faculty is NET qualified and few have also appeared for judiciary exams. The exam are conducted semester wise i.e in every 6 months and in between the mid semesters are conducted along with presentation in each subject. 75% attendance in a semester is mandatory.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't provides internship for law students. Students can do internship on their own during the semester break period and build up their CVs. The intership opportunities outside are avilable for the law students.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are only available for the engineering departments and other departments such as management, pharmacy, science etc.. The placement rate is low as compared to other private colleges.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee paid to the college is 25000/- which will be refunded or not taken if the student has enrolled in the CM Medhavi scholarship. Other scholarships provided are the OBC scholarship and SC/ST scholarship but only one scholarship can be availed at a time by student. 2 scholarships cannot run subsequently at the same time.
Campus Life :
University conducts fest once in a year it can be any fest i.e either sports fest or cultural fest. At department level different competitions are organised and each year ethnic day is organised by the faculties. There are 2 libraries one is the department library and other is the central library with vast reserves of books and journals. The yearly charge of central library is 600 rupees. The central library opens from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday .
Hostel Facilities :
In total 6 hostels are there in the university 3 for boys and 3 for girls. For boys hostel the yearly fees is 4000 and 2000 monthly message fees. The amenities available are average and food quality is also average.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
