Remarks :
The New Government Polytechnic, Patna takes admissions through an entrance test that is called Diploma Common Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE). Tests are held through Bihar's Government of Bihar every year. In order to be able to take lateral entry courses students are admitted via DCECE LE which is also run by BCECE Board. Govt. of Bihar.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the teachers in our college were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum provided more practical knowledge than other courses, but it didn't make students industry-ready. It was easy to clear semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Students can work with faculty on research projects, Offered in the final year only. That helps for job. There is club in our college which encourages students to perform well in their area of interest or field.
Placement Experience :
There are many internships offered to the students last year. Students have a lot of opportunities and students get to choose where to apply for and which one suits us the most. It helps in gaining a lot of experience and developing skills which are important for us.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fee around 1500 per year and examination fee is 1000 per semester. There are various scholarship scheme and student credit card loans for student those who are seeking for money to pay college fee.

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
