Likes
- I like the campus life, hostel life and the annual festivals also there are some cultural festivals.
- Bus service is available here inside the campus.
Dislikes
- The library facilities are not so much good.
- Our department is not providing our own computer lab.
Remarks :
The admission is getting through writing Central university entrance test exam. The eligible students can apply for the specific university that they prefer. I preferred central university of kerala. I heard about this through my friends.There are certain coaching classes available online and offline. But students can prepare on their own. Any degree background student can apply for this course. While applying for exam you should choose political science. Only then you will get the seat in this course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because I like the subject as I know what all are the things included in the subject because I have done my graduation in political science. So here Four semesters are there. First three semesters include 5 papers. Last semester have two papers and dessertation. Third semester have internship. All the faculty members are well educated and qualified. The papers of each semsters are sometimes updated. Each semester have internal exams, seminar presentation and assignment submission which decides our internal marks. There is no much difficulty if you are well prepared. And teachers are much supportive.
Internships Opportunities :
During third semester there is a paper which is internship. We should do internship in any government agencies for 15 days atleast. This internship course is done in the agency which we choose. We can do it in our loaclity or any other place. I choose a municipality.There we have to study the structure and its working system.
Placement Experience :
There is no such placement opportunities offered by puboic administration department. Sometimes university level placements are offered. After completing this course my plan is to write NET exam and get a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During admission MA students have to pay 14000.During second semester it is 2000 and there is a 700 rs for exam fee. Then during third semester it is 8000.Then in 4 th semester it is 2000 again and 700 for exam fee.OEC category students have concession as they will get the money back later.And also OBC students can apply for e grants then they will get the first 14000 back. Central sector scholarship is also available.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very much enjoyable.As there are students across India and also from other countries the cultures and festivals are diverse. There is an annual fest that is CANKAMA. It is a competition between different schools and departments among arts and sports. It is conducted on the month of march usually. The collection of books in the library is not so good and also the number is less as it is a central university the library facilities should be more available to the students. All classrooms are smartrooms. Sports competition is also conducted annually. But the facilities like good playground is not available.There are some clubs and association here but it is not working properly.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 6 girls hostels and 4 boys hostels here. Hostel mess is common for all 6 hostels for girls. Like wise for boys. The mess menu is changing every month. There is a mess committee. Hostel provides wifi, hotwater, waterpurifier, common study room, cycles. But wifi is sometimes not available properly. Common study rooms does not have much facilities. Water purifiers are under repairing always. Infrastructure is somewhat good. But also there are some problems during summer and rainy season. Students can be alloted to hostels at the time of admission itself. The quality is food is much better for keralites. The food for non malayalies are also available.But there are certain issues in that. Hostel fee is 3540 for each semester and 2000 or more for mess fee for each month.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
