Near Distance, Reputed, And Good Staff and Management. The main con of the college is that, it lacks activities comparitively since the college campus is actually very small. There is hardly any place for the students to hangout when they are in the campus except the college canteen, which is also not very accomodable. The teaching staffs are actually really good and are friendly. The Management is weak compared to other Reputed college in Ernakulam District. Personally I would suggest you to prefer another college if you are looking to have a blast in your college life. Apart from that, it is a well maintained reputed college with well educated and friendly faculties and average amount of activities and engagement. But i am expecting the college will get better in thr near future as it is planning to expand the area as well as focus more into activities along with studies. To be honest, I haven't hated this college nor loved it too much.
I actually studied bio maths, but towards the end of my 12th i was more into Computer related works and hence I changed my decision of pursuing MBBS and chose BCA. The Curriculum at the time of my admission was not that good. But the current Curriculum is very much better.
As of my knowledge the university does provide campus placement opportunities that also from reputed companies like WIPRO. I don't have sufficient info about the eligibility criteria or anything. That's all i know. I've heard some students have gotten into good companies like Amazon, Google etc from here.
Yearly fee is 40,000 for me which is 2 semesters. Also there is no tution fee if you have full A+ in 12th grade. I actually was unaware of that and didn't apply for that concession, i only realized that after 2 semesters.
As i said earlier i wouldn't recommend a student who wants to completely have a blast in their college life. As long as i am aware the curriculum of the university itself is more into academics. Eitherway there are way better college with better social life, clubs and infrastructure that falls under this University (Mahatma Gandhi University)
Campus life is a vibe, i wouldn't say i have hated it, but it was not what i had expected in my college life. I didn't opt for a hostel as the college itself is actually close to my real home. So about the foof quality and menu, i can't say much. But from what I've heard the food quality is below average and menu is not very diverse.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
