- I like my college infrastructure as it is green and neat and it has separate blocks for each department and a big auditorium.
- Students join Panimalar for their tasty foods provided to the students everyday including breakfast,snacks ,tea and lunch.
Dislikes
- Panimalar is known for their strictness nature,where no students are allowed to bring phones inside the campus.
- Lack of culturals, extra curricular activities.
Remarks :
I attended the TNEA counseling and gave my first preference to this college where the cut off for ECE course was around 180 where I was eligible and got my seat blocked in this college. As this college is well known for their discipline, tasty foods, Good academic placements, I decided to join this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have keen interest in the field of technology related to our day to day lifestyle in aspects of electronics and the method of communication involved.As a result of which I opted for this course. Staffs are well qualified and are extremely good and friendly in nature to all the students without any partiality. All students are given equal importance and care in terms of studies. There will be a regular class test apart from which monthly there will be a unit test being conducted to help the students prepare them for their semesters
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for internship in Cognizant for the duration of 6 months for the role of Program Analyst Trainee. The stipend was about 12000 per month. Courses related to Dotnet domain was taught and done project in the same category
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are good. Training will be provided to students for Placements starting from 3rd year. All students will be placed according to the eligibility. Top recruiters are Cognizant ,TCS,Wipro,Tech Mahindra, Accenture, HCL etc. Highest package is around 8.5 lakh per annum and lowest package is around 3.5 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For counseling students the fees per year was 125000.For management students the fees charged was around 145000.There are scholarships available for SC,ST. The fees includes tuition, food, transport and miscellaneous.
Campus Life :
Panimalar is renowned for it's academics. So it's quite possible not to have any extracurricular activities as most preference is given to the studies. Although yearly once College day will be conducted for all students, photo shoot day for the final year students. Our campus is humongous and has a well equipped labs and a library with many books where there will be separate class for students to go to library and read the books whatever they want. There will be a sports day yearly once for the students to showcase their talents. There are certain clubs in terms of robotics where students need to get permission from the faculty to get involved in it.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a day scholar.But being said, the life in hostel is quite good.Hostel foods are well provided with different variety of dishes everyday along with snacks , tea etc..Also there are beauty parlors, medical centre for the hostel students. The procedure for applying for hostel is at the time of admission seeking fill up the necessary form details for the hostel, which will be included in the fees and may cost upto 40000 per year totalling the fees per year to 185000.

There are campus placement from both native country and from abroad.But mostly for computer science course people are benefitted that time.mechanic and electronics and communication course face difficulty in campus placement.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
