I wanted to pursue a law degree and become a judge so I decided to go for BALLB. To join any of national law university a student had to give clat exam after completing 12th class. So I joined a coaching and prepared for this exam. To get any of these colleges a student must secure a rank above 3500 from general category.
The course curriculum is good as it is already pre decided for all 5 years that what a student had to study for all 5 years. The teachers in our college are not well qualified except permanent law faculty otherwise else teachers are contractual based which are appointed on a temporary basis and those teachers are not well qualified to teach at this college. The exams are held timely and there is proper time given for preparing before the exams and the difficulty level of exams is moderate.
I have opted for a internship at Patiala House Court, Delhi. The internship was provided to me by the college authorities and the college after every semester provide internship to students in every court including Supreme Court.
This year the first batch of our campus has been passed out out of which 9 to 10 students got placed in different law firs and companies, As of now there are no recruiters came to the college, the student on their own visits the law firms or companies.
The yearly fees is 230000 to 245000 including tuition fee, hostel fee and mess fee. As of now there is no scholarship available and the student from all other categories pays the same fee as of general category. Per semester the tuition fee is 42500, Mess fee is 30000-35000 and the hostel fee is different for AC and NON AC rooms.
The life at campus is great and there is friendly social life in the campus and the infrastructure of the complete campus is great. There are various clubs or committees which are run by student themselves for different purposes and there are fest conducted in campus such as on Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi etc. All books needed in the course are available in the library.
We have hostel facilities provided by the college themselves which have AC and non AC rooms. The hostel mess is fine and they give a decent quality of food at a decent price but the mess authorities does not co operate with the students.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
