Remarks :
The main factor why I choose this course in this university is because of the reputation of the university. A lot of scholars who had contributed in Indian Archaeology were the alumini's of this department. To get a seat in this department one must attempt the written test conducted in this department. Then a short viva voce will be conducted. Valuvating the overall performance, you will be selected by the group of professors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is one of the unique and hard course. One must need a keen interest and determination to pursue this course. The academic part covers topics from archaeology in Indian region and World context. Topics like Museology, culture and tourism, numismatics, epigraphy, temple architecture, art etc were taught. The course is divided into 4 semesters and each semesters were evaluated by 2 internals and a major exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Students were given internships in Archaeological sites from the State department of Archaeology Tamilnadu, Conservation, Documentation etc. There is no internship opportunities available with the college. I got my first internship after the completion of the course in Thirumalapuram Archaeological Site, Thenkasi where I was able to study a lot of informations on excavation process.
Placement Experience :
Intern opportunities were provided during the course time. Students were send to State department of Archaeology, Tamilnadu, Archaeological Survey of India - Chennai, Government Museum Egmore for internship programme. No direct placement given.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For regular the fee is 6000 INR per year, and for self supportive the fee ranges to 65000 INR. There is a concession in fee given for the SC and ST students. The fee includes, tution fee, excavation fee, exploration fee etc.
Campus Life :
The campus has an evergreen atmosphere and were surrounded by beautiful trees. Various events, festivals, games were conducted. Cultural festivals were conducted to maintain social harmony. Various people around the country study here and this makes this university mixed cultural one.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is another plus for this university. The hostel is located in taramani which takes nearly 40 mins in train to reach there. The hostel also conducts various events like hostel day, sports day to engage the students. Screening of Ipl matches also takes place.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
