The location of the college being in Delhi NCR is one of the most important factors for me to choose the college. The good aspect of the college is that its a private medical college in Delhi NCR The faculty is good as they are from the top gov colleges of Delhi and Haryana . One of the most highlighting factors is that it has north India’s only National Simulation centre which in itself is a big deal and is a great platform for exposure to students. one of the bad aspects of college is that the campus isn’t student friendly and that it is located in the outskirts of Gurugram so commuting is difficult The admission in the college was done on basis of merit in NEET exam The application process is done through haryana medical council website followed by a counselling process of 3 rounds with last stray round .
I chose this course as I am come from a family background of doctors and I have very closely seen this profession and the good and bad associated with it . The faculty of our college is really good they are mostly from esteemed government colleges of Delhi and Haryana The teaching and curriculum method followed is under the guidelines by the national medical council Likewise exam patterns and difficulty level is good and is again under the syllabus given by the medical council
As an mbbs student uptill 4.5 years there is no such thing as intership We are posted in different departments in the hospital which is a part of our curriculum Once we are graduated from final year we do a intership of 1 year which is a part of the curriculum in which we work in associated hospital as doctors As mbbs students we can be a part of research programms and lot of platforms provide such opportunities in our college
For our course there is no concept as placement Once mbbs degree is done we are free to join any private or government set up Mostly students go for post graduation degree and give the NEET PG exam
The fee is 18,00,000 per annum The course is of 5.5years and fee is chargeable for 4.5 years The fee includes tuition fee development fee lab fees The fee is same for all the students as the only seats available are management quota Hostel fee is 2,00,000 No financial aid or scholarships are available for students.
The medfest is called Genesis it is counducted in the month of February The library is very well equipped with books and journals with all the recent research papers available. Infrastructure is decent but could be better As the medical college is in the same campus of the university sports and extracurricular activities exposure is very good Inter faculty tournaments and sports meets are organised very frequently Different clubs such as the music dance literacy and photography societies are there run by students and led by the student body of FMHS
Food quality is good but there is room for improvement. Menu is repetitive There are many hostels in the campus but mbbs hostels are different They have spacious rooms and basic amenities are provided
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
