Remarks :

I chose the college because it was closer to Delhi NCR, which is where i live. Overall, for the NEET score that i got, any private medical college within the NCR or any other developed city of this ranking was not under 20L, and even though 18L is a LOT to pay per annum for a bachelors degree, it was one of the affordable colleges at the time of admission. Admission is through NEET counselling, which depends on how many marks you got and what your rank is. Preparation for NEET is fairly simple but requires a lot of dedication and practice of the MCQs. Syllabus includes 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. The exam is for 720 marks, with 45 questions per subject, 4 marks for a correct answer and -1 for every wrong answer. I prepared for these rounds by referring to the standard text book of CBSE and MCQs from various other books.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love the course i study, it excites me and i look forward to going to class everyday. There is amazing exposure for medical students and contrary to what i thought, the on campus hospital has a variety of cases and surplus patients to learn from. The faculty is very dedicated in giving you the best education possible, and the practical experience is more than sufficient for an undergraduate degree. The class tests occur on a pretty regular basis, with an average of 2 tests a month and 1 viva per week in practical classes. At the end of every semester, there is a semester exam and practicals, which happen every 3-4 months, and the final tests or professional exams happen once a year which are full syllabus. Before the finals, there is a mock final series of exams which helps a lot with the preparation. The difficulty level is moderate, but unpredictable since the final exams come from an external institute.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship for the MBBS course is compulsory for 1 year, without which your degree would be incomplete. 6 months compulsory internship in the college hospital is there, and the rest you can complete from a different hospital or continue here itself. The stipend for the internship increases every year, currently it's 11k a month. as an intern you have to do menial tasks like prepping patients, post operative care, watching surgeries etc. and you get a decent exposure in all fields of medicine.

Placement Experience :

Placements for the medical field are great, we usually don't have recruiters because it's very easy to find a job as a doctor after your bachelors, and you even get paid in your internship year by the college when you work at the hospital. Every student is open to working wherever they please, private or government sectors both, the salary ofcourse varies with where you work, but it's very well sufficient for a bachelors degree. Approximately 90% of students get a good job after the course, specially in the Delhi NCR region where the college is popular and very well recognised.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

18L every year for 4.5 years, 4L extra in the 1st year which includes stationary and extra costs, 2L of which is refundable. For MBBS there is no financial aid available by the university itself, you can take external loans etc. There is a bond which is compulsory to sign stating that you cannot leave the course if joined, and if you do then you have to pay the fees remaining fees of the course (eg. if you quit in 2nd year then you have to pay 36L) along with 40L for breaking the bond. The fees has now increased to 20L PA and will probably increase more in the upcoming years as the university is credited a NAAC A+ status, but if you have already taken admission at a certain fee, like I did at 18L, then the increment does not apply to you. You have to pay the fees which the college has disclosed at the time of admission for the next 4.5 years regardless of an increase or decrease in the upcoming years.

Campus Life :

There are NUMEROUS fest conducted atleast once in every month, there is celebration of every festival, every achievement and various interfaculty tournaments of sports, dance, music, debate, everything you could think of. Every month there is a movie screening or DJ night for the hostellers, and various quizzes and seminars for the day scholars. There's plenty of extracurricular available including dance, music, every sport including football, cricket, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball etc. in the college hours as well as after. There is every book related to all the 19 faculties in the campus in the library, along with question banks and practical books which are very very useful. the library is open from 8am to 8pm with 3 study rooms, 1 computer room and the library general area. The university has a student council called Prabandhan which organises every event within and outside college. Each faculty has it's own clubs and groups which operate differently.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is fine, rooms are well maintained and they get cleaned everyday. application for the hostel is done with the start of every academic year, and you get the hostel in most cases since there's plenty of rooms. the mess is better than other colleges, with breakfast from 8-9am, lunch from 1-2pm, snacks from 4-5pm, and dinner from 7-9pm. The mess is located within the hostel complex, there is variety of foods with salad and milk everyday, which is nice. The hostel has washing machines, a salon, study areas, a gym, recreational area with table tennis, chess and other games and a TV room.

One of the Best Private College In India

Placement Experience :

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
