Remarks :
My school is great when it comes to facilities like a lab, library, and basic facilities. it is one of the departments that possesses the most sophisticated equipment. The teachers are also really qualified and renowned. but the learning process is almost self, which is not completely digestible. the reason I chose this institution is that I wanted to study environmental sciences, and this is one of the institutions that has it. I took The CAT entrance examination, and I passed with 7th rank. after this, I was invited Via mail for the interview. after the interview, i was shortlisted and summoned for the admissions process. the syllabus of the entrance examination is already on the school website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to study environmental science. All the faculty members are well-qualified. Our department head was recently awarded the Paristhithi Poshan award for the best environmentalist by the Kerala government. the exams are not conducted in time but managed to be completed. Exams are difficult to complete on a moderate level.
Internships Opportunities :
there is no internship opportunities offered by the department except for one position annually. i have done an internship in district disaster management authority and also in a waste management company called urban trash limited.
Placement Experience :
there is no placement opportunities for students from my department. but some other schools offer placement. now i am trying for placement in disaster management related companies. since most of the opportunities are based on experience, it is difficult to acquire a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee in a semester is around 13 thousand rupees, with variations in each semester. The admission fee is included in the first-semester fee. In addition, a 1000+ is remitted as an exam fee. The developmental fee, library fee, sports fee, and facility fees are included in each semester fee. An e-grant is provisioned for SC/ST students to pay fees. The E grant is not really obtained by general students. My course is MSc Environment Science and Disaster Management. For the Environment Management course, the fee is almost the same. The M.Sc. applied geology course has a fee of about 28 thousand per semester.
Campus Life :
the celebrations mostly on campus include onam celebrations, youth festivals, hostel day, freshers day etc. Social events are not very frequent in the campus. The university library is one of the major attractions of the university. The library consists of plenty of books of various categories. The facilities of the library are of top class. Sports Day is as well conducted but hasn't received as much attention as it deserves. there is only one music band that I am familiar of which is lead by students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are satisfactory. but mess food is not of expected quality. menu is nutritious, but not tasty. hostel is allotted to students who have applied for it. it is a timely process so that students will only get allotted after months. The monthly fee for the hostel is 225, and the mess fee depends on the food taken. the local pg and rented houses are not very affordable. it may come up to 7000.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
