Remarks :
The admission purely under merit and quota basis Since there are various constituent colleges under the university, the allotment will be based on mark list I have been selected to main campus situated in Coimbatore through merit basis Other than general admission there are other ways such as ICAR, Industrial quota, NRI, Sports quota, 7.5%reservation etc... Tamilnadu Agricultural University is one of the best institution for Agriculture studies across India . It ranks NIRF 5th rank all over India It being cater more than 20000 students in UG,PG, PhD,PFD etc .... Students from here are been performing well in many sectors worldwide The practical knowledge gained from here able them to be a entrepreneur nowadays The ug course is little tougher due to its tight schedule and timings (7am -5.30pm) and other record works
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chose this due to interest in agricultural sector The faculty here in main campus is marvellous with more than 20 yrs of experience. The teaching method have been modernized through ppts and there will be a field class in all the courses daily Semester wise exams will be there for 100 marks. The breakage is as follows Total working days -105 / sem Midsem -20 marks (objective) Practical - 40 marks Final theory - 60 marks Min.mark to pass 60 marks
Internships Opportunities :
It will be only for Agri.Engg degree so I have no idea about that. Those PPL are going for internship from 3 yr end itself across India and sone of them got stipend there. Sone of them got placed in the same companies
Placement Experience :
There is no big placement for Agriculture degree offered anywhere. Mostly the student will go for pg or start preparing for govt exams Some students may go with jobs in seed, fertilizer companies with average salary of 25k per month. My plan is to prepare for upsc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees 20000 per semester Hostel fees 4000-5000 per month Manuals and materials need to bought by their own Various community scholarship are being provided There is concession in fees for SC/ST and first graduate students Students admitted under 7.5% quota are no need to pay tution or hostel fees More or less it will take upto 100000 per year to complete the course
Campus Life :
The TNAU without functions will feel like a hell. There as many as functions and fest such as Muthamizh Vizha, Sangamithra, Hostel day , Pongal vizha, New year celebration etc... All these functions are organised by the STUDENTS' CLUB members which has 14 clubs with in.. ..other than this there are seperate functions for each degree programmes like Agronova, ATM, Ecofest etc.... Sports in TNAU is well and good with a very big play ground to conduct ICT among the constituent colleges.it is equipped with all amenities regarding to all sports and catered with coaches for all fields like swimming pool, indoor stadium games, gym etc.... The library in the main campus is one of biggest in Asia with more than 2 lakh books with computer center and other electronic gadgets
Hostel Facilities :
90% of the student go with college hostel due to early morning field classes....it is within the campus provided with mess , reading hall etc.....min 4 members should accomodate in one room. Hostel may be congested but the life in this hostel with friends is memorable

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
