- College and Infrasturcture - Overall the collge is 6-7 out of 10, if you are getting better option dont hesitate to choose as the college and placments and fine only. Infrasturutue is really and the camplus is beautiful and green. Perks of the college are good campus and safe city and some tag of college as NIRMA is reputed college and also maintaing decorum amout students and make you learn the feeling of pressure and burden and how to abide by timelines
- Some faculties are good and expereiced and know how to teach but the major faculties are new and does.nt know how to teach at all. Earlier is was fine when Purvi Mam was dean but since she left the college is declining and the quality of student and teacher both is getting worse. Some faculties like nitesh sir and nikit mam are exceprionally good and will make you learn and understand things. Campus life is nice but only if you ahve hostel facility and sorry boys dont hae that facility.
Dislikes
- Faculties are getting worse and no teaching experience is geeting good as all are new comers also some are student of Nirma only. The Quality earlier and now has lot of difference and also no focus on learning is there only they burden you with assignments and projects and meeting them timely is goal no learning at all. Dean madhuri is worst of all and i wonder how she is the dean. Some faculties doesnt know how to speak english and the fees is around 300000 per year now and addition 2 lacs for living. 25 Lacs for law degree in nirma is waste to be honest.
- No hostel for students is the worst thing as no one can enjoy campus life. Students lives in flat and have no contol on them and into addictions. This is going worse day by day and i have witnessed that form my personal expereince that the quality of student is also low as intake is high so anyoe can now take admission.
Remarks :
Campus is beautiful, Ahmedabad City is good and some faculties are really knowledgable. Classrooms are good and library is also nice. Alumini is fine , many students are exceptionally good and overall the college is fine. No hostel facilities for boys available. Boys live outside the campus by taking flats, pgs and hostels. Major Faculties are not expereinced and do know how to teach. Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) is the test to appear and one need rank under 4000 to get selected for couselliing in NIRMA. There is no GD and PI round only direct selections. I did the prepare by taking coaching for Clat and I took drop of one year for preparing the paper and i suggest if someone can prepare by doing crash cousre can also clear the exam. No need of taking a drop.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course was B.Com LLB Hons. and I did my Hons. in Buisness law. I did learn about company law, mergers, compietition law,ibc, Fema and many other corporate subjects. I had best expereince in learning these subjects as they were intersting. Curriculam is good. Some faculties were exceptional and has vast experience and also expert faculties were really knowledgebale. But most of the faculties did not kow how to teach, they were just inexpereinced and useless. Teaching method was monotonous and no teacher has any unique method to teach. There were two proper examinations Mid sems (40 Marks) and End Sems(100 Mraks) in one semeter and with tht several assignments and projects were there. A semster was of 4 months and all this happens in one sem and then one month intership after every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for intersnhips, in my 5 years of college, I have done 14 Internships in total before getting placed. I got one internship from college and that was assesment internship. Basically assesement is like training period and on performance yot get permanent job. The company was Cleantech Industry Resources an USA based solar project company. Several law frims come for intership opportunities like Begur and Juris Corp like firms. These provide stipend from 10K to 30K and the task are legal wok related like research and drafting and reviewing. Also include court work depending on the profile of the firm and team aloted and interest.
Placement Experience :
Every student entering the fifth year becomes eligible for placement. Every company/firm then have different procedure to select the candidate like written test followed by gd/pi. EY Visted and offered 9.2 Lac, KPMG vissited and offered 6 Lacs, Sveral Law firm visited and the cap was between 6-10 Lacs and apart from that several companies with in house role and banks came for placments. Highest Package given was 11 Lacs from law firm but this is college placement, individually several student got 18 to 20 lacs on there merit and skills. Average package is 5 to 6 Lacs. I am graduated and i got job n mumbai. I am an insolvecy lawyer and i got this job from linkdin and I hacve a decent package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There were total 10 semester in 5 years and every year per sem fees was 1,12,500 and yearly fees was 2,25,000. Every year fees incresed by 10 percent for juniour batches and i enrolled in year 2019 and passed in 2024. So now the fees would be propobably around 1,50,000 per semester. The fees inclued total fees and this does'nt include the hostel fees, hostel is different. The management fees of my batchmates was Rs 5,25,000 per year. This is called NRI Quota and still you will need to attempt clat for availing this quota. Scholarships are available who have ranks under 1500 in CLAT and have scored good. These scholarships are 100%,75%, 50%,25% on the basis of the merit based. Not available to everybody only to rankholders of clat.
Campus Life :
Ashwemedh is the official fest of Nirma Law College. It is conducted in April month every year. The fest is good contains cultural and sport events both. It is of 3 days and invites good singers and comedian for fest. Almost all books and journals are excessible in the library. library is decent not too great and not to bad. Amenities in classrooms are good and are maintained good. Sports and extracurrricular are good as the campus is big and have almost every sports facility and stages for extracurricular. Every club is run by student with faculties as mentor. From fest to literature, from dance to sports and music, from debate to moot and from MUN to Quiz there are several clubs which are run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
The biggest draback was there was no hostel available for PG students when i took admission in the college and when i came in 5th year the facility started for the girls only. Could not Comment on this part as I lived in pgs and flats in years 5 years.

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
