So firstly, I got selected into Nirma on the basis of my CLAT rank. Choosing nirma over other colleges including the ones apart from top 10 NLUs was certainly a wise decision. Apart from the clat scores, nothing was taken into consideration for the selection process. The admissions at ILNU take place only on clat scores.
I got into the BCOM LLB course which was again based on my merit. Having commercial subjects certainly helps in dealing with corporate law and other related subjects. The faculties here are extremely helpful and are willing to guide us whenever we require guidance. The course curriculum is designed in a manner keeping in mind the regulations of BCI and the UGC as well.
I am usually able to find internships on my own but if support is required the CRC is more than willing to help us out. There are companies like Nanavati, CAM, NDA, etc that approach our college. Many people in the '24 batch have been placed with tier 1 and tier 2 law firms.
The CRC is constantly working really hard for the students and several tier 1 law firms provide placements and internship opportunities to the students. The internship and placements are getting better with each passing year.
Fest- ashvamedha, month- usually in the month of April ( last week) We have plenty of books and resources in our library, however, the library does lack in some subject areas. We have decent classroom structures with ACs. There are a tons of activities for sports enthusiasts, singers, dancers, etc. there's everything for everyone. There are literary clubs, dance society, music committee, movie club, etc. Hostel: we have beautiful campus and beautiful hostels. However, for the law course, the hostel facility is only available for girls. We have a decent mess facility providing hygienic food.
