There were specifically three factors that make me choose this college from others. The first one is because one of my cousin have passed out from this college in 2021 from mechanical engineering. The second is the tution fees and hostel fees are very low as compared to other private colleges which I was getting admission. The third factor is it is a Muslim Minority college and is governed by the Government of Haryana and Haryana WAQF Board. The admission process is very simple you get direct admission through your class 12 marks. No other exam or counselling for the admission. But one thing you should remember is that whoever come first get the chance to enroll in whatever courses.
So personally I want this courses (Computer Science Engineering) because of the love of technology and for securing a good future job opportunities. The curriculum is pretty basic which is taught in every college of India nothing very special. The curriculum gives you a proper foundation for the Computer Science which is necessary as a computer Science student. Teaching methods can be improved by putting more faculty members for Computer Science and by putting more latest technological computers in the labs. Since the labs are not equipped with the latest version of windows. Some changes can be done in Course curriculum but if the college say it to the Gurugram University until there is no change can be done by the college itself. Exams frequency are good and enough time is given for the exams. But there should be fair checking by the Gurugram University because the many complaints have come that even writing good in the semester exam they fail many students.
No internships provided by the college. If you want to do any internship while in the college you have to apply for them on through LinkedIn or other websites. But there is a collaborative program inside college with Honda where you can learn and if you do better there they get you selected for the job after you complete your btech.
Mostly people who complete their btech go for masters for better job opportunities in later future because of lack of placements. Very few people get placement in companies like Reliance, Airtel, and Mahindra. Only 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Highest package of the last year was 12 lakhs from Mahindra and the lowest was 4 lakhs Highest package of the last year was 12 lakhs from Mahindra and the lowest was 4 lakhs from Airtel and about 13 people got placements in total which is about 5% of the total students. My plans after completing my btech is to pass GATE exam and search for good job opportunities.
Mewat Engineering College is the best college if you are looking for getting an engineering degree with low cost. The yearly tution fees is just 49500 Rupees since 2022 but before 2022 it was 10k less which was 39500 for boys. But if you are a girl there is upto 20k concession in your tution fees which brings up a total of 29500 for an year. The registration fees for the college is 10000 which get reduced from the annual fees of your first year. So don't worry about that. There is no other fees like exam fees, development fees or labs fee or sports fee. Even this is a Muslim minority college but there is no scholarship right now opened but there is a dedicated office for scholarship cell in the college but it doesn't work anymore. No any scholarship for any type of caste category. Also there is no different fees for computer Science, civil, mechanical or electrical. Tution fees are same for all.
There are very few annual and technical festivals held in the college. There is fresher party celebrated in the month of October and there is Sports function in the same month. Later after that there are very few events happens like Essay competitions and debate competition. You can find curriculum and novel related books in the library and you can easily issue 6 books at a time. You can find different types of sports here like cricket, football, kabaddi, badminton, chess and table tennis. No social groups, clubs or students portal are here.
You will get a room in the hostel where you will be living with 2 others mostly of the same semesters which in total 3 bed, 3 desk and 3 almirah and a balcony. Bathroom and toilets are in center of the hostel for all. It has a big ground also. You will get the best meal here like chicken, paneer, Puri and halwa. You will get milk and paneer, Puri and hakwa. You will get milk and tea everyday. You have to fill the form for hostel in the office of the college but don't worry there are lot of rooms vacant you can easily get access even if you come late. There is no PG or rented room type things here the hostel is from the college itself.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
