My miserable college life.

What I Liked

In whole college my only favorite place is the library.
For faculty only thing which I like is that they all are or most of them are highly qualified.

What I didn’t like

Beside library my college has nothing to offer so everything.
Infrastructure is also a bad thing about my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest in computers and machines. The faculties of my course are average I mean qualification wise they all are PhD, but their teaching method is not upto par, of course what can you expect from tier 3 college. For exam you have to prepare yourself no help or any support is provided by faculties, and the level of exam is always difficult as for me can't say about others.

Remarks:

There is one and only one factor behind my decision to choose this college and that is my weakness in academics otherwise I definitely would have chosen the college in New Delhi my native city not in Haryana.

Best affordable State Government College for engineering

What I Liked

The best thing about this college is that the scenery outside the college. You can see the Aravali belts in front of the college and the best view you can get from the library of college.
The faculty are well experienced and have completed their degrees from India's top central universities like Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Milia Islamia. Most of them are PhDs holders.
You get lots of sports experience like cricket, tennis, football, basketball, kabaddi, badminton and chess.

What I didn’t like

The building of the college are not well maintained as they needed a lot of maintaining because at some place of the building cracks can easily be seen.
The taste of water is salty but you get good RO drinking water but normal tap water is very bad and salty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So personally I want this courses (Computer Science Engineering) because of the love of technology and for securing a good future job opportunities. The curriculum is pretty basic which is taught in every college of India nothing very special. The curriculum gives you a proper foundation for the Computer Science which is necessary as a computer Science student. Teaching methods can be improved by putting more faculty members for Computer Science and by putting more latest technological computers in the labs. Since the labs are not equipped with the latest version of windows. Some changes can be done in Course curriculum but if the college say it to the Gurugram University until there is no change can be done by the college itself. Exams frequency are good and enough time is given for the exams. But there should be fair checking by the Gurugram University because the many complaints have come that even writing good in the semester exam they fail many students.

Placement Experience:

Mostly people who complete their btech go for masters for better job opportunities in later future because of lack of placements. Very few people get placement in companies like Reliance, Airtel, and Mahindra. Only 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Highest package of the last year was 12 lakhs from Mahindra and the lowest was 4 lakhs Highest package of the last year was 12 lakhs from Mahindra and the lowest was 4 lakhs from Airtel and about 13 people got placements in total which is about 5% of the total students. My plans after completing my btech is to pass GATE exam and search for good job opportunities.

Good campus

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good and teachings staff is also in education deliverd college is good but there is no placement college also in budget campus is nice there
College Libarary give a acess to reading any book the is number of books,

What I didn’t like

There is no placement as we mentioned above that is the bad thing about college
No bad thing about college infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is one scholarship of NSP 25000, Course is good overall. The time of the exam is also good. They take monthly and weekly assignments through which we can ready for to final examination and get passed the examination.

Placement Experience:

Seriously this is the main problem here there is no single placement, I have not seen any placement in foe year even though the never say to place about us, even though they don’t discuss our placement there is no placement.

Student Life and Academics at Mewat Engineering College

What I Liked

College location is favourable in this fees.
Infrastructure is overall good but lacks maintenance.

What I didn’t like

Placement is not up to the mark, as they don't proper opportunities
No sports and extracurricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen this course as I was not able to score good marks in jee mains and I don't want to waste a lot of money by going in any private college. From the childhood days, I have passion for computer that influenced my decision to make admission in computer science branch. All faculties are well qualified but some lack the teaching methods as they are not able to meet student needs. Semester examination happens most of the time on time. Difficulty is moderate. Fee hike Yes we have seen fee hike last year , and per semester fees increased to Rs50000 per semester. Earlier there was national scholarship for minorities but I think government has closed this scholarship.

Placement Experience:

As such , there is no structured placement happens. Students get some job opportunities of low package through college. Those who don't got placed start looking for intership at corporates or industries. Some students go through training as they lack required skills. And they try to get placed through off campus.
