- Faculty is good. Some professors are literally very supportive.
- Labs are equipped very well with all latest systems.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not too good as there is construction going on regularly.
- Non technical subject taught in the 1st year are boring.
Remarks :
I had to choose a college not too far from my city, Damoh, therefore, I opted for GGITS. I didn't face any discussions, interviews or tests, I was selected based on my JEE mains result. The college faculty is decent & you can bet on them if you want to get placed at a package of upto 5-7 lakh rupees p.a., but if you want to achieve more, than you definitely need to work hard. One bad aspect of the college is all classes are not air conditioned & you gotta feel too hot during power cuts. Also, there a limited lab days so you have to sit in the same school type classrooms all day.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal. I chose this course because I'm passionate about IT & AI and want to work actively on web development. The college curriculum is little outdated but is interesting.
Internships Opportunities :
I made some open source contributions for GirlScript Summer of Code program this year and had a good experience working on the projects there. Important thing is, I did that on my own & it was not associated with my college.
Placement Experience :
The mass recruiting companies visit the college every year & hire students from the college. Although there are different eligibility criteria for all companies like some of them would reject you if you had a backlog or some might look up for a CGPA more than 7.5 and so on. There are regular campus placements from the college but the package is not so high.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for one year is 75000 rupees, which also includes professional technical fees of 5000 rupees. There are scholarships for SC, ST & OBC students and also a dedicated scholarship cell in the college where you can get all the info about the upcoming scholarships (all govt & pvt).
Campus Life :
There are several clubs in the college but no hostel inside the campus. You have to search hostel by yourself. Although, the college has a counter where you can share your problems, if you face in your hostel & helps you to figure out things better. I live in a Jain hostel and my campus life is too good.
Hostel Facilities :
You can get information about the hostel or PG from the college, also you can contact to some brokers who can assist you. The food which I get in my hostel is good & so is the infrastructure. You can find qualify rooms & PGs easily near the college depending on your budget.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
