Life of an MBBS student- the pros and cons

- We have all the good facilities needed for learning in our college. We also have good canteens and vending machine in our college
- The faculties are really good and friendly with us. They are very experienced doctors who also teach very well.
Dislikes
- When the fees are not paid on time sometimes they refuse to let students to attend classes till they pay the fees.
- Some of the faculties are not very nice and do not teach very well.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is quite close to my house and also it is a very good college. We have really good facilities in our college and it is one of the best colleges in our area. The admission is according to the scores we achieve in an exam called NEET UG. Our faculties are also really good and we have amazing experienced doctors as our professors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because ive always wanted to pursue this career. I have always wanted to be a doctor and this is a very good college to achieve my dreams of becoming a good successful doctor. The teaching method is really good and timely exams are conducted. We have 2 internal exams every year. Then we have a model exam around 2-3 months before our university exams after which the main university exams are conducted. Exams are quite difficult which is needed so as to make us qualified for such a difficult job as a doctor.
Internships Opportunities :
We have an internship of one year in which we cover all the departments in the hospital such as general medicine, general surgery, community medicine, obg, labor room, MICU ICCU SICU, dermatology, psychiatry, fmt, lab medicine, emergency medicine, ENT, ophthalmology, etc. We have have a week each in MICU ICCU SICU etc. We also get casualty duties and labor room duties. Sometimes night shifts too
Placement Experience :
After the course we have an internship with a duration of one year in our college itself. Here we are posted in all the departments in our hospitals according to a timetable. We are also posted in health centres and taluk hospitals in rural areas nearby for a duration of three months. After the internship i plan to work in Calicut for 2 years after which i will be writing the exam and work in Dubai.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees is rs 700000. This includes tuition fees, lab fees and also hostel fees. We have another category called NRI quota for which the yearly fees is rs 1500000. Scholarships are available for students coming from financially challenged backgrounds.
Campus Life :
Campus is really good with a lot of facilities and also a lot of programs are held every year. We have many programmes such as arts day convocation freshers day sports programmes etc. We also have trips every year to different places. A lot of books needed for the course are available in our college library. And we have also have facilities to sit and study in the library alone or with our friends. We also have a college students union which is responsible for conducting all the programmes without any problems in a smooth manner. There is a sports secretary arts secretary cultural secretary etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The food is pretty good. We have breakfast lunch tea and dinner available in our mess hall. There are also a large variety of food available for each according to the menu. The hostel fees per year is 90000 rs including food. Now i am staying in a flat close to my college in manassery.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
