Likes
- I like some of the faculties of the college. They are really good and sweet. The faculties of some subjects are very good and explain the topics very easily and more understandably.
- I also like the ease of travelling provided bus the college, their buses go everywhere in Bhopal, so anyone from any part of Bhopal can easily travel from the college bus.
Dislikes
- For the same reason, on one side some faculties are very good, but some are so just not toleratable that it is very difficult to sit in their class because they do not seem to teach, it seems that they are just reading from their notes or projector or are saying what they have memorised without even bothering that the student is getting it or not.
- The campus life is not very good. Even in the college years when the student should focus on their skills more and give time to their self-study, the college has strict criteria for attendance even after giving valid reasons. The college administration should understand the hard work that the student had to put in after attending 8 hrs of classes, it is not easy to maintain that energy after coming from college.
Remarks :
My friend suggested I take the college. It was not my plan to be admitted in the LNCT university but I didn't know about it much then because I am not from Bhopal. I was planning to get admission in LNCT main but there were some problems due to which I was not able to do so. I didn't face any interview or admission test during my admission but there is a test system now.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I didn't want to do engineering very much, so I didn't give much thought while choosing the course, but now as I have entered the world of coding and exploring it and learning new things I am getting interest in it. The course curriculum is not very good, it seems like we are studying in school. there is not very much focus on any other activities, they just organize it but don't seem to support it much. The academic is just ok. Talking about the faculties, some of them are great but some have just joined the college as teachers and they don't feel like teachers. They are just coming and completing their duty without much responsibility.
Internships Opportunities :
I have tried to apply for various internships like in the GDSC interview and the ISRO internships. Although I have been rejected by google for the summer internship the decision for the ISRO internship is pending. The college also doesn't support much in internships, it is more concerned about attendance, it allows internships on vacations only otherwise it does not provide NOC between the classes.
Placement Experience :
The campus placement at our college, LNCT Group of Colleges is good but for the LNCTU, it does not seem to be very good because it has been recently established due to which many companies do not consider the LNCTU for the placements. Although many companies let university students participate in the placement, for them the general criteria is above 7.5 cgpa and there should be no current backlog. There are some course criteria also, which generally depend on the role they are offering.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During my admission, the fee for my course was 1 lakh 10 thousand, including the registration. The 10k is for the samatrx.io classes conducted for the AIML. We were not charged with the bus fees, but now the costs have increased to 130k with the bus fees. I had not applied for any scholarship but there is a scholarship on MP online for OBC, sc, st students. The university is not listed on some government loan portals so you might see some problems in there.
Campus Life :
There are some sports fest and other coding fest and programmes being organized in the college which are fun to participate. there are various clubs in the college, some of which are worth joining like the TNP the YUVA and the GDSC MLSA clubs and some are just there, they don't have much impact on the grooming or improvement of the students. The overall experience of life at the campus is just average. It should have been more socializing so that everyone could make connections and network, but in our college, even the seniors and the juniors face problems to interact with each other due to the different times of classes.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
