- course structure of GCET which follows GTU
- faculties are well experienced and know about thier subjects thoroughly
Dislikes
- campus of my college is very small compared to other colleges
- only 2-3 events occur in my college which is very less
- class rooms are very old fashioned with old benches
Remarks :
no group discussion or interview or written tests were taken only our acpc rank mattered for admission good aspects include marking structure it is very helpful and the course structure is also good because it follows GTU structure very similarrly cut-off while i got admission was around 6000 in IT field acpc rank consists of GUJCET Marks and Board results only
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course curriculum is VERY similar to GTU course structure it only has a few minor changes the only thing i dislike about my course structure is the labs only 1 lab per subject per week is given which is very less the practical subjects have more theory taught to us faculties are very highly educated and are good at the subjects they teach 2 exams take place 1 is mid sem and another is university exam mid sem covers one third of syllabus and university exam contains whole syllabus
Internships Opportunities :
right now i havent opted for any internships because i am in my 5th sem of college i will opt for it when i am in 8th sem i dont have much idea but usually students try to get internship in placement round but if they dont students are always allowed for out of campus internships
Placement Experience :
main criteria is cgpa it should be above 6 for most of the companies to accept you for interview round last year 273 students were placed and 73 companies visited highest package awarded was 8 lakhs and lowest was 1.5 lakhs my plans after college is to go for higher studies abroad i am currently preparing for GRE right now
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
total fees to pay are 59500 every sem and during exam we have to pay a sum of 1500 to give the exam as exam fees no aditional fees are required other than this there are different categories availible for admission i got admission in general category mainly there are 2 scholarships availible MYSY- family income should be less than 6 lacks and students should score more than 7.5 cgpa in each sem to avail it TFWS- top 3 in our branch are awarded with TFWS(acpc rank) they only have to pay 1500 and 3500 as college improvement fees for juniors the fees have increased now
Campus Life :
there is no campus at GCET the college campus is very small it ends as soon as it starts main fest of our college is IMAZE it is held usually in october another important fest is technica which was held a few days ago i was one of the tech leads in the event we have differents clubs like sports club indoor sports club etc we also have IEEE club and ISA also we have GCET rotract club
Hostel Facilities :
food quality is not good many times we have found dead insects in our food and once we even found live worm inside brinjal sabzi other than that the rooms are very good at my hostel (GCET BOYS HOSTEL) the rooms are spacious i live in AC room so we have to pay the AC bill ourself but the rooms are very comfartable we have options for 2 sharing and 3 sharing room i live in 3 sharing for registeration we just have to fill a form and it is on first come first serve basis

The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
