Good and bad about G H patel college of engineering and technology

- Computer labs are very good with Fats computer and AC lans
- Every class has smart board which is good for visualising topics.
Dislikes
- No sports activities as there are no ground
- Some of the faculties have no proper knowledge about subjects that they are teaching.
Remarks :
I got admission through ACPC counselling there was no separate group discussion or written test. Other way to get admission is through simply filing admission form on website. To be eligible for ACPC counselling you have to give GUJCET exam (state level). If you have not given exam then you have to fill application form on our college website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is not that old but also not upto date with current scenario. Most of the senior faculty have done their masters from IIT or NITs, though many faculty have completed their education in local colleges in Gujarat. Internal exam is after 1.5 month from the starting of semester and every semester is 5 month and level of exam is very easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not currently applied for intership as I am in 3rd year. But I have done some online internship where i learnt to create simple games in c++ and project given in internship are very basic though I have few things from this internship.
Placement Experience :
To be eligible for placement there should be no current backlog and cgpa limit is set by recruiters. Few of the recruiters are MG, Exxat, Royal cheese, odoo,meditab etc. average pacake is around 4LPA. Previous years placements were very good but this year few students are placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Overall tution fee is 119000 and apart from that there 1500 exam fee every semester and there is no any other charges/fees is there. For all categories fees is same but for NRI quota students they have more fees (more than 2 lakh) per year. Also fees i mentioned is at the time when I got admission, but for newer students fees has increased to around 129000. For scoring 10 cgpa in any semester you get scholarship of 5000. There are other scholarship provided by Exxat to students of our college which is around 6000 provided you are not taking any other government scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus is very small. One main building for most of the branch, 1 separate building each for mechatronics, computer and civil department. And also a library is there where you can get most of the course related books. There is no ground in campus though sports room is there where you can play indoor games. There are many student run clubs but most of them are dormant or do not do .ost of activities. Our college have IMAZE(techfest) conducted in December.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 hostel close college. Food is average and for registering you have to simply go to administrative office and fill one form. Hostel rooms are very very good since it is newly renovated and every room has attached bathroom. Since my college in vidhyanagar(anand). It is full of hostels and pgs.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
