My views on CUTN
Likes
- Department infrastructure and the items providing there to use are sufficient.
- Friends from the other states and so many places nearby to travel like ooty, pondicherry, etc.
Dislikes
- The summer season. It will make your life dead almost if you travel from your hostel to department by walk. Without umbrella.
- Buses aren't there specifically for students to drop them to department. As for mess also students have to travel longer.
Remarks :
The faculty is really great, for admission if you check the professor's cv they are highly educated and knowledgeable. And it will be assure when you get to take class from them. The teaching and the knowledge they provide is unforgettable. There was not such any group discussion or written tests for admission from the college side. But, to be eligible to take admission you have to give CUET exam's. Good about the college is that it's a place that will make you one man person. You have to do a lot of things on your own from hostel to departmental works. Professors make sure to provide quality content and so do they expect in the exams. If you get good friends, college is big to hangout in night for a walk. Not much restrictions. Whereas the bad qualities are the seasons mainly the summer time, you won't be able to bear, the mess food (disgusting most probably), the cleanliness in the old hostels are little poor. For buying things you have to go far from the college. Cutoff are less.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did graduation in geography so do I chose the same for master's. Qualification of the faculties are top notch and highly knowledgeable in so many fields, and always there to help you out. Exams they will conduct whenever the topic they will complete. Before semester exams they tries to take atleast two exams for the internal marking. They are not biased at all in the marking sections, due to which if you won't study you will fail too. Difficulty level aren't that tough but checking is for sure. And, some questions they do repeat from the past years. So, make sure to have the previous papers from your seniors. It helps a lot.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I did an internship as it is mentioned in the curriculum of my department and was mandatory as well to do it. It was without stipend and more of free internship only for my course. And I did it from Savitribai phule pune university.
Placement Experience :
For my department there were no such placements coming in. For other departments yes placement cell is there, and like for an example from economics department student get into private banks, and some from other department students getting into schools. Mainly the b.Ed ones.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first semeter I paid 10765 Second semester also, 10,765 Third semester fees 11,845 And for the fourth semester 11,845. For other categories as well the fees are meant to be paid the same for my batchmates. Scholarships are available if your state is providing it to you like One girl child scholarship, etc. And yes, the fees increased for my course M.Sc. geography in comparison to the past year fees.
Campus Life :
Life at campus was nill mostly for us (geography students) but for others they do take leave and have holidays when professors aren't present. So they can roam around. In summer (most of the month) you won't be able to tolerate and roam around. Must is an umbrella to travel with, because the rays are too much to tolerate. Make sure to have a cycle or bike, because hostels and department are very far by which travelling morning to the department and coming back from there to hostel is tiring, that leads to mostly not enjoyable. Books are available in the library. Sports and extra curricular activities were priority because in every function and festivals, the games were must to be included. There are different social groups of different people's like the North-east group, etc. Infrastructures are good of the department and the new hostels as they are newly built. You will like the campus in night. Make sure to have good and best friends that will only make your life memorable.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel it's available for everyone whoever takes admissions. For new students the hostels are newly built. Our batch was the first one to inaugurated and lived in the hostel. So it's pretty nice and clean. And you will like it. Lifts are there, so no problem. For girls, 3 girls in one room and for boys 2 boys in 1 room. Hostel mess is actually a mess. So many came and gone due to bad quality of the food and students protesting to it. There are nearby little far some pg available, but that would not be mandatory for the student to live in because hostels are pretty decent. Old hostels are little problematic because of no management. But nevertheless, you will sustain if you get habituated by a hostel life. For Sc/St the hostels are free. So no worry for payment. Where as for general and obc you have to pay somewhere about 2000?. There are shops to lean on for better foods and maggi, eggs, bread and juices if you hate mess food.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
