About NIT Papum Pare(Arunachal Pradesh)
Remarks :
The Admission Process at NIT Papum Pare is based on the JEE Mains score, I got the seat allotment through the Jossa counseling rounds which happened in Aug 2020 and joined in Nov 2020. I prefer this college over other colleges because it is one of the new established campus and i got this college based on my JEE Mains percentile. I used their college website to know more regarding the college and gave preference in my college preferences for Jossa councling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen Computer Science branch as this is in demand course and this NIT has good placement records for CSE dept. The faculties are well trained and pursued PhD's in their domains. Student and faculty ratio is about 50:5. We have 2 main exams in every semester which are mid and end, they are easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for an internship on campus, companies offer 6 months internship for the pre final year students in their 3rd year. My internship was in a AI based startup where i was paid a stipend of 25,000 per month at Bangalore. My project was based on gen AI and worked with the team on the ongoing tasks.
Placement Experience :
Companies start visiting for placements from 7th semester, Many top companies such as C-DOT, Deloitte, Wipro, OIL, CGI, Tech Mahindra. The highest package offered is 19 LPA, average package is 7.6 LPA. Most of the IT companies offer SDE, Analyst roles where are core companies offer GET roles for the students. I'm looking forward for the placement after getting the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is about 71,000 per semester for a general student, scholarship assistance will be given to the students belongs to the sc/st from the central government via NSP scholarship scheme. I got an 6 months Internship on campus it was an AI based startup and I got paid stipend of 25,000 per months.
Campus Life :
Tech Fest is Addovedi and Cultural Fest is Athulyum which are the biggest events conducted every year. Many books and journals are available in the library for the students bearing library card. Classrooms are big enough can be occupied by 90 students at one time. Clubs including Art, Photography, Robotics and the students societies are few active clubs run by the students for the students.
Hostel Facilities :
College provides the Hostel facility for the students, each hostel has its own mess menu designed by the students and the mess vendor combinedly. The quality of food is not much appreciable some days, but one can get better meals in south indian canteen. Hostel can be registered through HMC and very cheap for the students.
Interview Experience :
No GD, Interviews are taken for the admission we had a written MCQ CBT test, JEE Mains it was of +4 for correct answer and -1/4 for incorrect answers. Question are form Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. I have taken a coaching from an private institute for the JEE Mains for 1 year and then I was able to crack the test and got admission in to the NIT Papum pare.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are highly qualified. And tests occour monthly and since it is first year the test and exams are very very moderate . The exam of first year is given during December after which we get a vacation for few days after which the second sem begins and its exam occur at april

Almost all the teachers have PhD degrees except a few. They use both English and Hindi langue based on students preferences. They provide notes from standard book and also provides own well prepared notes. The exams always takes place timely, timely routine were provided.

Zoology was my subject since class 5 as I love studying this subject so I decided to took zoology as my honours in the university. All the faculty members of the university are good enough with a PhD . There held 3 sessional examination at a duration of 1month gap.
