- The college has a peaceful campus and it is very serene and beautiful. There are various sports activities available like basketball courts, cricket ground, volleyball ground, tennis court, swimming pool, indoor badminton courts. There is also a library which is air conditioned and has separate rooms for undergraduate and postgraduate. It has all kinds of books available for a student and also has computers available. There is a convection centre where conferences are held. There is also an amphitheater where students can relax.
- Each department has it’s own garden which makes the campus lush green and serene. The campus has 3 messes available and 2 grocery stores available so that hostelites can easily get access to food and other groceries. There is a petrol pump across the street and other food stalls exactly opposite to the college. The evenings are very peaceful as students get time post college and go out to play various sports of their interests.
Dislikes
- The campus is situated approximately 20 kilometres away form the main city area of Vadodara. To reach the campus for a locallite it takes around one and half hour which can be exhausting.
- The college building sometimes has no water available in campus which causes an issue as no water is provided in washrooms for a few days. The washrooms are unhygienic and not cleaned properly. There is water leakage in department of pharmacy and sometimes even short circuits occour
Remarks :
I chose this college as the academic background is good, it is a medical college hence the exposure to the field is more valuable. The professors are also experienced in third and fourth year and the principal has also writtten several books to help students with their academics. The campus is lush green and has a peaceful environment which calms a student’s mind in stressful times. The equipments are also up to date and provide exposure. The location is in middle of a village which is 20kms away from city, travelling can be an issue but the campus is peaceful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is divided into 8 semesters and 4 years which starts with an easier level and goes upto moderate to difficult. The course is mainly based on chemistry major and biology minor. There are various equipments in labs which teaches a student how to get used to working in a company and makes a student job ready. The course can get difficult during 4th sem dur to subjects like organic chemistry, biochemistry, medical chemistry, pathology, anatomy and physiology, pharmaceutical engineering, pharmacology, microbiology these subjects are a little difficult but if studied thoroughly then one can pass with flying colours. The other subjects are easy to moderate. In last year students are required to do project work under a professor guidance. The faculty is experienced and the principal has published certain books which helps students in their studies. The third and fourth year professors are well experienced and hold a phd degree as well.
Internships Opportunities :
I had gotten an internship in sumandeep bidhyapeeth hospital named dhiraj hospital. It was overall a good experience and i had gotten a total of 12,000 per month. The stipend provided is 30,000 companies like sunpharma, zydus, carewell pharma, hinduja are top companies where placemetns can be given to a student depending on their field of interest and the marks scored in 4 years or cgpa scores during the course of 4 years. Students are made job ready by college hence making it easier to fir in the corporate world and helping them learn various terms and manners and etiquettes required in the corporate culture. There are students who also opt to work in hospitals if they are interested and some go for industrial pharmaceuticals companies while others go towards research and drug development and marketing.
Placement Experience :
Sumandeep Vidhyapeeth provides students woth a good package after masters and bachelors. The bachelors package or starting salary for bachelors in pharmacy graduate is around 75,00,00 to 2,00,00. And for masters it is 3,00,00 to 5,00,00 per anum which is good salary for a beginner. The students are placed in well known companies like sunpharma, zydus, pharmalife and other pharmaceutical industries or hospitals depending on their marks and interests. The highest package offered was 2,50,000 to a student who passed out in 2017 after doing bachelors in pharmacy graduate. The average package is around 2 lakh to 5 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Sumandeep vidyapeeth offers a wide range of courses and the fee course for bachelors in pharmacy is 50,000 per semter and 1,00000 per year it increases 3% every year. The enrollment fee is rupees 500 which is non refundable. The fee should be deposited on the given date or else charge of 150 rupees per day will be applied. The fees for doctorate of pharmacy is around 2,00,000 per year which a 6 year course. The entrance exam fee for sumandeep vidhyapeeth is 300 rupees which is also non refundable
Campus Life :
Campus and social life in sumandeep vidhyapeeth is very peaceful. The college campus is around 20 kilometres away from main city of Vadodara. The college buses are available and vans are also available for transportation for localities and for non localities the hostel and mess services are provided. The campus is of 180 acres and in a village named amodar district in Vadodara. The campus is lush green full of trees and flowers it is a very serene and beautiful campus. The campus has a big library which is fully air conditioned. There are all the medical and paramedical courses available. There are 3 messes in the campus which serve good food to the students. The campus also has basketball court, tennis court, badminton court a swimming pool and a convection centre. Each department has it’s own garden outside the department which makes it serene and peaceful environment for students. Birds are seen in gardens. There is also an amphitheater available.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 9/10 hostels available maitri, charakh, dhanvantri, vama, etc vama hostel is mainly for masters students or medicine students the other hostels are for other students. Ac and non ac hostels are available. The fee for AC hostel is around 75 thousand per year which should be paid in one instalment and the non AC rooms are for nearly 50,000 per year. boys and girls have seprate hostels. Each hostel comes with lift service and security. The hostel timings are 10pm to 5am curfew . Sometimes there is an issue of water not being available. Each room comes with attached washrooms. The hostell students are alloted a mess card. The mess serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks which are healthy and tasty.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
