Remarks :
I am applying the counselling on Dr MGR University Chennai, my cutoff and category wise I get this college. Only 12th mark cutoff needed , like 50% above Marks are got the pharamcy seats on colleges. 12th only finished such groups - biology or pure science or computer science. In Management seat college only needed 12th marks are not less than 50% .
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was providing lots of job opportunities like pharmacist, research and development of drugs, industry of medicine manufacturing, quality control, drug designing, and drug inspector ext... The staffs are completed post graduation (m.pharm) . That college provides well facility laboratory and give the students attending seminar opportunities. Staff are helped to students for artical writing. The examination conducted by mgr University at 6 months once , the college conducted two sessional exam for internal marks for one semester. Totally 4 years college conducted sessional exam was 16 . Only chemistry interested students was easily clear the all semester. Pharmacy full la chemistry related subjects. Very stress full course....
Placement Experience :
That Mariam college of pharmacy was established at 2020 So first batch students was completed the course at this year (2024) on December. So I not know the placement. These college taiuped several industries, they gives placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Manegement seats; Tuition fees - 90000 [ including, tuition fee, development fees, lab fees] Admission fees on 1st year - 3000 Hostel fees- 75000 ( it's increased yearly once) Per year total fees - 165000.( Hostel +mangement students) Dayscholar students - 90000+bus fees ( 22000 per year) Government seats fees: Only accepted the schorships like BC , National schorships, first graduation. SC , ST schorships accepted both seats. BC - 7000 ( per year) SC, ST - 50000 but only 49000 to students,application for schorships. Totally 8 semester - per semester exam fees 9000. 4 years college fees + hostel fees + exam fees = 6,92,000
Campus Life :
The management conducted many functions like pharmacist day celebration and pharamcy week celebration at every year September 25 . Than also celebrating Pongal, Onam, and Christmas only. The library was well established, the contain several subject related books and journals ext.like pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics research journals. Sports only connected on any function time .but other colleges sports meet was attended permission to students. Social media like instagram groups available and YouTube channel was run by students they uploaded function time dance ext..
Hostel Facilities :
Apply for hostel is not seperately there are join the application of college. Hostel room are very well that's contain double cot, not contain any capbords, 6 to 8 members at one room . Peace full environment at hostel. Phone are not allowed only one hour per day at night time 8.30 to 9.30 at Sunday phone time two hours 6 to 8 . Hostel fees was per year 65000 that pay at two time like six months once. Any PG hostel are not available at the near by college. PG hostel available at long distance you should staying PG hostel , college provides bus facilities. Hostel foods are good quality but only Kerala style foods are available because nursing students are staying at hostel compain with pharmacy students, nursing students are Kerala state person in majority at hostel so the management provides Kerala style foods.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
