- The faculty that teach here are pretty dope and they make you understand the concepts really nicely along with practicals in Labs
- the seniors are super friendly and they help you a lot ofcourse there are bad ones too but there is no ragging thing so the cpolllege is safe enough for freshers
Dislikes
- The camps life here is not so cool you more feel like you are in school rather than college. very boring campus life
- the stupid clubs and their procedure make u do all the formalities and sh**t but in the end you end up attending classes and nill experiencing of college life
Remarks :
The main factor for me to choose this college was affordability as it has the lowest fees for the computer science branch and gives the same facilities a other private colleges around Bhopal. I got a seat here through MP DTE counseling and the admission process was easy one can also get admission at the college level but the fees for them increase. there were no such interviews and group discussions for admission if you got as eat through MP DTE it was just a one or two-hour task.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college follows the RGPV curriculum and syllabus which can be downloaded through the internet on the RGV site. There are 8 semesters overall each semester is 6 months long so every two semesters make a year. In the first year, the student learns the basics of every engineering field. so one gets a little idea about every branch and one can also change their branch if they want to and if the seat is available in that particular branch. the faculty of the first year is pretty good they make you understand the concepts very easily and help you throughout the sem with doubts. all faculty are PhD holders in their respective fields. After first year completion one moves to the respective branch depts and continues their rest 3 years there only the teacher at my dept I.e CS is all are highly qualified teachers and they are well versed with the topics. long with this theoretical knowledge, we get practical experience in labs as well so overall teaching and academics are pretty dope.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am in the third semester right now I will opt out of internships in upcoming semesters. the college does provide internships their tie-ups bt it is up to you if you want to have them on your own or of you want college advised. in my opinion, it's better to go off on your own as college advised just give you a certificate as they are tied up and no skill training you will get.
Placement Experience :
in terms of placement, all the private colleges in Bhopal offer the same there are some companies like tcs Infosys wipro capegemni which come every year and take up our students as well. they guarantee you 100 percent placement but it is not as easy as it looks there are many stages but they do prepare you for them if you attend their tnp programs which are held from the start of the second year till the end of your graduation so if you come college daily and attend their classes it can benefit you every year companies do come that is for sure but they take the upper cream layer the minimum cgpa u need to maintain is 7. 5 if you are above that you are eligible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee is around 74k and it differs on the branch you take like for cse dept its around 90 k this year the fees remains the same all 4 years even if the fee for freshers increases . The feees need to be paid every 6 months before the semester starts. if you avail bus facilities its around 16k which also has to be paid every 6 months . There are no as such internal fees but fine is charged for late fees submission and stuff like that . The fees depends on the category u take admission on if you got an TFW seat the feess is very low around 5 k or something and if you belong to caste like sc st obc you also get scholarships.
Campus Life :
campus life is not as expected but still annual fest called sage utsav happens every year around October November and there are clubs like SAC which Is run by the students and for the students . under it many clubs fall under like sports n all but the reality is they are mad once they then doesn't exist its like the clubs are made for the name and they works only upon the cultural fests like dance drama n all so don't expect a campus life ass uch when you take admission here .
Hostel Facilities :
I live in Bhopal itself so I haven't opted out for a hostel so I won't be able to write upon it. but there are some things I can tell you about there are separate hostels for girls and boys for boys they have two hostels and for girls, they have two one is inside the main building and the other is near the second college that's all I know but there are rooms nearby that can be rented and are cheap enough

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
