Likes
- Great Exposure as there are well equipped labs and even there is farm inside college itself.
- Sports is also good in the college as there will be some interyear matches will be going on during weekends
Dislikes
- No A/C in classroom till 3rd year and quite old buildings
- Very less shops outside the campus and cafeteria is there inside the campus which will be open till 6 pm only
Remarks :
The admission is done on the basis of your NEET score through online counseling by Veterinary council of India(VCI).I chose Veterinary College and research institute, namakkal due to its academic praises on YouTube videos.For this college last year cut off is around 65k to 70k AIR for general category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is of 5.5 years in which 4.5 years you have to study and 1 year internship. I chose this course because nowadays veterinary profession is also growing rapidly Here teachers are well qualified most of them had done PhD We are studying in year wise syllabus but soon this will change into semester system according to new guidelines. For other state students there is a scholarship from ICAR in which you will get 3000/month
Internships Opportunities :
At the end of 4.5 years of your study you have to complete 1 year of internship in which you will get stipend 14000/month.For internship you will be sent to other colleges of universities, veterinary dispensaries, polyclinics,farm and zoo which will provide you great exposure and you can learn utmost at that time.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is there. Most of the students will go for pg or VAS job after UG. Or you can go for entrepreneurship or your private clinic. Your salary will be based on your experience and skills but avg salary is 45k/month
Campus Life :
In our college no such festival is organised but there will be cultural and sportsday event which will occur around July or August in which dance singing interyear sports matches will be done. Our college is having well spaced A/C library having all journals. Sports campus of our college is good as it includes basketball ground ,volleyball ground, football ground, cricket ground, indoor stadium for badminton and gym also Hostel is like all government colleges hostel, no wifi in hostel. Mess menu will be different for every month. Mess will be having typical south Indian food. Hostel fee is 1200 per year 5000 security deposit in starting which is refundable at the end of course and mess bill will be around 3.5-4.5k per month.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
