Remarks :
The good aspects about my college, is the brand value of NMIMS. The coding culture hair is really impressive and the faculty is really helpful. The curricular over here focuses on Main subjects more than irrelevant subjects. Bad aspect about my college is 80% strict attendance or else. We’ll be not allowed to sit in our exam. Passing marks are 40% and grading system is here to the grading system is very difficult as one need to score more than 50% or else he’ll get a degrade and 2D is equal to 1F and and more than 2F would land you year back the admission process is purely based on merit basis. NmIMS have their own exam. And also take on the basis of JEE. I applied through through Jee basis and got admission here. One interview did happened where they basically examine what kind of student I am, which was just a normal discussion interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum could be a little less stressful. We get tons of assignments, but the faculty is quite helpful. They really help students to score maximum marks and the difficulty level of these exams are normal. If one study for two hours a day or in two day, one can score, really good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships are provided on the basis of merit of exams. The college really helps and focuses on students internship and do every kind of possibility to make sure one grab a good internship. Everyone in our batch did internship and it it went really good.
Placement Experience :
The placements here are based universal in all Nmims campuses. So the average package is eight lakhs highest package is 45 lakhs and around 70% placement start is here. A lot of good companies do visit here. Many man companies also visited and we have a tie with TCS too
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying 2,50,000 for one year and additional 20,000 for security deposit. There is no scholarship program as of now. As far as I know, there is no management quota and there is no special quota for reserved category.
Campus Life :
The campus is very small and there is nothing much to do beside studying. It is quite stressful and competitive over here and the clubs are not so well. Only the technical clubs are preferred over here. However, the infrastructure is really good. The washrooms are clean. The hostel is provided with every necessity, AC and laundry to the library over here is really beautiful, and all kind of books are available and even have a e Library to study.
Hostel Facilities :
I did it opt for a hostel, but my friends are in in the hostel. The food quality and menu is good. They serve the same menu and same kind of dishes as the cafeteria does. The fees is quite high. 2,70,000 for a year and the rooms are quite short and small for 2% to live, but it is really neat and clean.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
